Account Suspended Despite Compliance – Seeking Clarification and Reinstatement

Hello Microsoft Community,

My company’s Partner Center account currently shows a Suspended status for both the Indirect Reseller and Microsoft Cloud Solution Provider programs, even though we believe we’ve met all requirements.

What we’ve done:

  • Completed all security requirements (MFA enabled, security contact designated)
  • Verified business and legal information is up to date
  • Ensured there are no outstanding payments or compliance issues

We received a notice about CSP indirect reseller eligibility (USD 1,000 revenue requirement), but our partner confirms our license spend exceeds this threshold.

Our questions:

  1. Why is the account still suspended if we’ve addressed the stated requirements?
  2. Is there a hidden or unaddressed compliance issue?
  3. What specific steps must we follow to have the suspension lifted?
  4. Can Microsoft reinstate the account once we provide evidence of compliance?

We’re unable to perform critical operations like assigning licenses or accessing partner benefits while suspended.

Has anyone experienced a similar situation? Any guidance from Microsoft moderators or the community would be greatly appreciated.

The cut-and-paste auto-close you're hitting shows up in a couple of other threads I've been reading, both citing section 4.b as the reason.
When your ticket auto-closed, did it cite section 4.b directly, or was it just generic compliance language? The section reference might be what triggers the auto-close.

I've had this same issue.  No answers.  When I file a ticket, I get a cut and paste curt response and the agent  immediately closes the ticket, so there's no chance to respond.

Is the purpose of this simply to get rid of people not selling half a million dollars or more in product?

I read someone else say they created a new tenant in the partner center and that resolved things, but I don't see a way to create a new tenant, just associate an existing one.

After 15 increasingly frustrated tickets where the useless cut-and-paste responses were given without reading the ticket, we've given up. The tickets explained that we hadn't actually been given any notice, according to Microsoft's own terms, and were therefore expecting some assistance. We've decided it's easier to go through the Commercial Direct route because getting help from Microsoft Support is like trying to get blood from a stone. Never had such awful customer service, and because they're a huge company they're allowed to get away with it. Disgusting.

I can't believe this.  The worst part for me is that I only became a partner because the customer changed from another MSP and Ingram wouldn't release their account to simply purchase direct.  They told me it HAD to move to another partner, which seems backwards, since the customer is the one paying for the product.

What's happened now is somehow in Ingram, it's gone back to the prior provider as the partner since MS removed me.  Why would it do that at all?

Inkfire_Cameron Does just starting to purchase direct cause any issues?  In the customer's portal it tries to steer me to Ingram to purchase as the solution provider.  If all their licenses get purchased direct, will that eventually go away?

I have the same issue.  I file tickets and get cut and paste responses and the tickets are immediately closed by each person who answers them.

Yes, I have submitted several tickets for this issue and provided all the required details as requested.

Were you ever able to resolve this or work around it? I created a new subtenant and it is now stuck in a "Pending qualification" stage.
