Account Suspended Despite Compliance – Seeking Clarification and Reinstatement
Yes, I have submitted several tickets for this issue and provided all the required details as requested.
Were you ever able to resolve this or work around it? I created a new subtenant and it is now stuck in a "Pending qualification" stage.

Any updates further ?
Same case with us. We tried a with a child tenant, and its pending qualification since 3 days.- HaptechJul 27, 2026Tin Contributor
I do have an update. If you submit a ticket and luck into a good support agent, they will see the issue and rectify it on their side.
However - the main issue from here on out is that administering the child tenant is a pain.
Since it's a different tenant, licensing and whatnot isn't shared. So if you want to be really careful with permissions for example and use a privileged admin with PIM, you'd have to get a P2 license for that subtenant separately from your main tenant. You also won't be able to access other similar things the same way as before - like Lighthouse.
Massive pain. The support agent I spoke to admitted they know this is an issue and they've been "instructed from higher ups to just tell people to fix it by created a subtenant." Pretty wild.
I feel like I will keep uncovering nuanced annoyances for years because of this.
All because I changed our address to reflect a true company address change.

I submitted half a dozen tickets and all got the curt response and immediate closure. I didn't change anything and I did try the subtenant thing but that never worked. I don't even know why they cancelled on me, but I can't spend my life chasing this down etc. I'm a one person business.
Just as FYI, a couple folks I'm in a slack with said when they have to (as partners) move a customer to direct, one said he just has the client begin buying direct, another walks through the process to make sure they know which licenses they need etc. then cancels the reseller licenses and the newly purchased ones take over as long as they're assigned properly.
