Edge Dev Version 137.0.3255.0 (64-bit) corrupted extensions
-After upgrade to latest version Edge Dev is reporting many extensions as being corrupt. -Repairing individually also does not resolve the issue, the entry disappears in Extension settings. -Extension icon on taskbar show as blue jigsaw piece instead of default Extension icon. -Fresh install of latest dev version also behaves similarly. -When trying to install extension from MSoft store get Error message below:
Machine learning powered autofill suggestions
Hello, It looks like a new Machine Learning autofill feature was rolled out with Edge 132 and enabled by default. There is a bug with this setting where even if you have the parent "Save and fill basic info" setting disabled, the Machine Learning suggestions still appear even though the setting is grayed out. This leads to a confusing user experience, because folks that work in enterprise forms with PII try to disable their autofill, only for the feature to remain active. The workaround to disable this feature is to re-enable Autofill, turn of ML suggestions, then disable Autofill again. It looks like there is an enterprise policy to control this setting rolled out on January 17 with Edge 132.0.2957.115. However, I do not see this setting in Intune's Settings Catalog. We are trying to manage in the cloud and avoid creating any more group policies. Is anyone aware of an ETA for this to be added to Settings Catalog? I'd prefer not to set up a Remediation or ADMX CP only for the setting to become available shortly thereafter. Thanks! AndrewOrgBrandingCustomName no longer working in Dev/Canary
The latest Dev/Canary builds have moved the profile icon from the top left back to the address bar near the extension/plugin list. We have the OrgBrandingCustomName cloud policy enabled which no longer works due to this change. Is this expected behavior? Current stable channel behavior: New Dev/Canary behavior:
Prevent Bing web page from opening when Edge starts
I am tearing my hair out with this. I do not want a tab to open to the Bing search site when Edge starts. I have tried numerous fixes I found on the Web and none of them work. First I tried changing some settings on Bing itself. That did nothing. Then I did this in Edge... 1. Go to Settings>Privacy,Search and Services 2. Scroll all the way to the bottom and “Address bar and search” 3. Set “Search engine used in Address Bar” to “Google (Default)” 4. Set “Search on new tabs uses search box or address bar” to “Address bar” This seemed to work... FOR A FEW STARTS. Now it is back to opening a new tab with Bing again when Edge starts. How do I stop this???!!! Thanks for any help.
Edge Resizing - Apple Macbook Air M1
I'm not sure if this is the right place but i just switched to macOS and I noticed that edge is VERY laggy when resizing a window. It's very frustrating. You can see in this recording the difference between Edge, Microsoft Outlook and Twitter. Enhance videos in Microsoft Edge (Flag: #edge-video-super-resolution) is missing critical options in setting, making it impossible to function properly. In Version 136.0.3240.29 (Official build) beta (64-bit), as well as the previous beta build, it is missing the option to choose from three methods of video enhancement, as shown in screenshot. Here is the setting from latest beta build: This is how it is supposed to look: Thus, beta build defaults to Microsoft Super Resolution and I can't find a way to use graphics driver enhancement like RTX Super Resolution, which is critical to my experience. Also, HDR is no longer supported when video enhancement is enabled, which I believe is a limitation of Microsoft Super Resolution.Some extensions don't work on Android Edge Canary when returning to the app
I am using Edge Canary and have installed several extensions through the developer options, but some of the extensions are not working when I resume from the background. The extensions that don't work seem to be automatically disabled internally, so I can disable them from the extension options and then re-enable them to use them again. (However, in the latest Canary build, if this problem occurs, the app crashes when I try to open the extension options.) This issue occurs with uBlock Origin, Stylus, etc., and probably occurs with the Manifest V2 extension. This issue occurs on multiple devices and occurs even after reinstalling, so it is not device-dependent.Password Management (like Keychain Access)
My family and I have become chained to macOS and iOS because of the Keychain Access password management system in iCloud/macOS/iOS. If Windows (and Edge-C by extension) had a solid password management feature built-in, I could see some of us feeling comfortable moving back to Windows & Edge. We're not interested in 3rd-party payware extension for password management. We love the Apple ecosystem for easier, built-in password management. I'd love to see the Windows ecosystem have the same thing, please.Dev Channel update to 137.0.3255.0 is live.

Sidebar not syncing or accepting new app additions (+). Copilot button is dead/inactive. Sidebar settings are well configured. Using the latest version of the Ubuntu OS and MS Edge. Functionality appears to be absent as product was released without full functionality....Lame!
Netflix playback Resume Stutter
Hello! Every time I pause a video on netflix and move to another tab or another windows, the video stutters on resuming playback. It lags, goes pitch dark for a second, then the video is resumed. I have seen this bug since very early versions but it still hasn't been fixed. After today's dev build update, I thought maybe I should ask for a solution or maybe it's just me and my friend with this issue.--js-flags=--noexpose_wasm launch flag causes STATUS_BREAKPOINT
Version 135.0.3179.73 (Official build) (64-bit), Windows 11 Education, also occurs on Windows 10 Education and Windows 10 Pro, been testing this since probably version 129 of Edge. --js-flags=--noexpose_wasm as a launch flag causes STATUS_BREAKPOINT, this is regardless of default configuration and with or without extensions. WASM can be used to discover privileged information about a machine, and this seems to be working in the past according to some users online, but no longer does now. Please can someone advise?
