Looking for Feedback on To-Do List Usage for Design thinking
Hello everyone I’m currently working on a design thinking project for a To-Do List apps and I’m trying to better understand how real users use task management tools like Microsoft To Do I would really appreciate it if you could share your experiences and problems by answering a few questions What features do you use most in to do list apps What are your biggest challenges or frustrations when using To-Do List apps Are there any features you wish existed in Microsoft To Do How do you usually organize your tasks and priorities Your feedback will be very valuable for my research and will help me design a more user-friendly task management experience Thank you so much for your time and insights Best regards
Dragging Task onto Outlook Calendar in Web does keep Category (color) (or notes or steps)
So categories could be useful. They have been added now to both the online ToDo app and Outlook Web Calendar. A great feature is in Outlook Calendar (web), you can choose from the top right the a ToDo list side menu and drag a task onto the calendar to make a quick 1/2 hour block and move it around. And you could color code this with categories. HOWEVER, they are not connected. If I choose a category (e.g. Purple) in ToDo and then drag onto the calendar the event does not have a category. I can add it AGAIN if I want or add a different one. (1) I noticed this drag and drop is one-way and any changes in the calendar are not reflected back onto the original task. Fine, you can fix that later, but (2) when I drag the task onto the calendar, why can't the category at least go with it? (3) I noticed the notes and steps don't translate either, but please, the category could be so useful.Options below "add a task" should include My Day & Star
Below the dialog box where you add a task, there are 3 options, to add reminders, due dates, and recurrence. This is great. But if you could ALSO have star and MyDay there so each task you add gets those as well. This is in the web version of ToDo, though I think it is the same in the online Outlook version and the desktop app version, all of which I use. T
Completed Items Reappearing
I've been extremely frustrated with To-Do since I was forced to use it for my personal list over Planner, but now it's completely unusable. Now any changes I made are going right back whenever I refresh the page or leave and come back. Completed items are undone, changed due dates are reset. Even new tasks I add are gone. Phantom notifications for a deleted task.
I had a recurring task (once weekly) that I deleted. I deleted the whole thing, the task doesn't exist anymore and doesn't re-occur. However, I still get the MacOS push notifications every week telling me I have that task due. If I click the alert it opes ToDo but doesn't go to the task (it can't, since it doesn't exist!). If I mark it as complete from the notification then next week the push notification arrives again. Somewhere in the backend the notification push didn't get deleted when the task was deleted and now I can't get rid of this notification! It's not device specific, the alert is pushed to any device I'm signed into with ToDo. Does anyone have a suggestions as this really irks me.
Feature request: notification to task using copilot for smart title
Everything is in the title What would be super efficient would be being able to transform any notification or text to task with Copilot transforming the full text to a smart task title, and keeping the text in the description of the taskToDo dosen´t synchronize right
Hey guys, I need your help with a specific Microsoft ToDo problem. I use ToDo via the Program for Windows 10, via the Outlook integration, as well as via the App for IOS. I'm, of course, logged in with the same account, but it seems like ToDo dosen´t synchronize right between the IOS program & the Windows 10 program on one side and the Outlook integration on the other side. When I add a list or task in the Outlook integration, it doesn´t appear in the other 2 programs at all (and the other way around). It seems like both programs work completely independently, almost as if I use two different accounts. Does anybody know help? Thanks, guys ;)ToDo dosen´t synchronize right

Any plans for a macOS widget?
Hi team, Are there any plans to bring a native macOS widget to Microsoft To Do? The iOS widget is super useful, and having something similar on macOS would make it much easier to check off tasks or add new ones without opening the full app. Would love to see this feature in a future update! Hello, I would really like to use the MS To Do app in outlook, but I can't seem to find it. I have the app on my desktop. I have it online on outlook.com. (I have a PC, Windows 11) When I look on the navigation bar on the left it is not there. When I click on the square for more apps the only app that shows up is OneNote and Powerpoint. I have repaired MS 365, outlook and the ToDo app. Nothing has worked. Any suggestions would be really helpful. Georgina
MS To Do: Recurring Task Steps show Complete
When a recurring task with multiple steps is completed, the steps in the new version of the task often retain the same state as when it was last completed. For example, if a task has five steps and three are marked as complete before marking the task as complete, the next day, when the task recurs, those three steps remain marked as completed. However, if the steps are marked as complete, another task is accessed, and then the original task is revisited before marking it complete, the steps will most often show as incomplete when the task recurs.MS To Do: Always Maximum Volume
The volume for Microsoft To Do regularly resets to the maximum level, despite a daily ritual of setting it to around 25% every morning. This is annoying, as I usually start up my home office earlier than the rest of the household. Typical day: Open To Do; Check off the first item; Completion bell rings throughout the house; Open the toolbar volume control; Open volume mixer; Reduce the volume of To Do. Next day: repeat. All other apps maintain their volume settings.To Do Tasks not Showing in Outlook Calendar
I am in a two person office, and we are using To Do for task management. My partner is having an odd problem. She has logged into our desktop Microsoft office suite and into To Do using the same microsoft credentials; we can see the task list from To Do from within her Outlook at the Tasks Tab;, but the tasks are not showing up in the Task Window we opened her calendar. Mine works fine. The tasks we are trying to popoulate are in a To Do tasklist that we share between us.Sync with Outlook Calendar
Greetings, I’m using an iPad 10th gen with Outlook for iOS. What I want to know is if its possible to sync To Do tasks that were assigned to me in My Day. I seem to do everything that I need but I cant manage to see them in my calendar. We are using this system to make a big pool of tasks that we need to do around the shops and sometimes when our regular duties are done, we could pick some tasks in the pool, assign them to the correct workers and then it would appear in their calendar so other people can see that they are already doing something in the Day. I’m sorry if its hard to understand as I’m not a native English speaker. My first language is french so dont hesitate to ask for more information if you need some. Thank you and have a good day.
