Hello! I am working with a client that currently uses Citrix SmartPolicies to update the RDP property of the remote machines based on if a user is connecting from a personal machine (not a client provided machine) and if the user is connecting from outside of the network (personal and client provided machine). So if, for example, they connect from a personal machine, the user cannot map printers, local drives, or have copy/paste functionality. I write this to ask if there's a possible way to do this in Azure Virtual Desktop. We've looked at Liquidware's ProfileUnity solution which can update these RDP properties based on AVD Session host properties like WMI classes, registry values, and environment variables. However, the only real discernable value we could find at the moment is $env:CLIENTNAME. We are looking for a secondary value to base filter on as the CLIENTNAME could be hacked pretty easily. Looking to see if anyone has had success in this type of scenario for a highly regulated company and what was your solution? If you used a third-party service, what was that service? Hello, we're trying to deploy the New Microsoft Teams in our infrastructure. Technical details: - Citrix CVAD 1912LTSR CU8 (VDAs are running 2311.0.0.247) - Windows 10 22H2 19045.4291 - Teams 24074.2321.2810.3500 - Citrix HDX Optimized - FSLogix 2210 hotfix 3 (2.9.8784.63912) - Machines are deployes using both PVS and MCS New Teams opens up, but the "Account/Status management" drop-down menu at the top-right of the MS Teams window disappears immediately. As a result, users can't manage their status and change their profile settings. Screenshot of what's missing: What MS Teams looks like in our Citrix VDI environment: Troubleshooting done so far: - New Teams re-deployment (completely uninstalled and installed) - Cache cleared - User profile (FSLogix) reset and re-created from scratch Any idea on what could be the cause of the issue? Hi all, Within our organization we’re using Windows 10 1809 Enterprise on a Citrix XenDesktop 7.15 Environment. We’re allowing users to use Snip and Sketch (build-in store-app) but we’re facing some issues when users are pasting from the Windows clipboard. The situation is as described below: After a new snip is taken users copy (no additional action required because the snip is automatically copied to the clipboard) the image to Microsoft Powerpoint (Office 365) or Paint. Nine out of ten paste actions (right click > paste or ctrl + V) fail to copy. An error is given: “something went wrong that might make PowerPoint unstable Please save your presentations and restart PowerPoint” or “the information on the Clipboard can’t be inserted into Paint”. No information has been found in the Windows Event logs. Within Citrix Studio I’ve applied new policy rules to prevent a session to share clipboard information with the host. Also I’ve applied a Windows 10 OS policy with the following rules disabled: “Allow Clipboard History” and Allow Clipboard synchronization across devices”. As a workaround we tell our users to change the option “Auto Copy to clipboard” within Snip & Sketch. So far I can’t reproduce this error while this setting is turned-off. Anyone out there who has similar issues or advice/solution how to resolve this issue?1.9KViews0likes1CommentMoving Onedrive to a network location
Hi, We operate a Citrix environment with FSLogix profile management. Users OneDrive folders are currently sitting in their FSLogix profiles. Since our profiles are currently capped at 30GB we would like to move OneDrive to another location. I created a GPO that sets the OneDrive location to \\SERVER\SHARE. However when I go to setup my OneDrive I get "your onedrive folder cant be created in the location you selected" message. I've done some googling about the issue but I can't find much that relates to the folder being saved to a network location. Is changing users' OneDrive For Business folders to a network location something that is supported? Or is there a better way to go about it. Did anyone manage to integrate the Citrix ShareFiles and OneDrive FB? I need to create Azure AD SSO for Citrix FS for one company. I faced with errors in the official MS and Citrix manuals, but successfully done this. After that, company wanted to add OneDrive FB integration into Citrix SF, since they also use it. I added a new Connector in Citrix FS for OneDrive FB. In the process, the system requested an administrative account, so I entered administrative 365 account with GA rights. After that, all users of the company had visible OneDrive FB in their Citrix SF, but unfortunately everyone can see only the contents of that GA admin's OneDrive... I created a Citrix SF trial tenant and tried to reproduce the situation on my own test 365 tenant, but everything worked fine for me. After that, I uninstalled these enterprise applications (all three, Citrix ShareFile then installs two more, Citrix Files and Citrix Collaboration). Now SSO access is preserved, but the OneDrive FB integration no longer works in my test 365 tenant, it gives a strange error: "Code: accessDenied Message: Access denied Inner error" Citrix support could not help me, referring to the problems on the MS Azure/365 side.1.3KViews0likes0CommentsCitrix receiver/Workspcase app "fails with SSL Error 61"

Hello everybody, in my company I have a user who works on a terminal server (Citrix). Pretty much all users can easily use teams in the environment, but currently 2 of my colleagues get error messages when starting teams... The following behavior can be seen: Team setup downloaded and installed -> everything starts without problems and is ready for use -> close teams (completely) or log off / log on-> teams error as attached ... In the meantime I have deleted all teams files from the profile of the users several times or made a completely fresh Windows profile. That helped other colleagues with the problem but not those two ... I am lost currently and hope someone can maybe help. Thanks in advance! Greetings3.2KViews0likes2Comments
