Why is my C drive suddenly full but I have nothing on it?
I just noticed that my C drive is almost completely full (disk storage at 100%) all of a sudden, even though I haven't installed any big programs or downloaded large files recently. This is causing my system to slow down and I’m also getting low disk space warnings. Why is my C drive suddenly full?I checked the usual places like Downloads, Pictures, and installed apps, but nothing looks unusually large. Could it be temporary files, hidden Windows updates, or something else taking up space in the background? Has anyone else run into this problem before? Months after a project is completed, it often becomes difficult to retrieve the needed files due to forgetting the exact file name, precise keywords, or the final storage location. The search function in Windows File Explorer is effective initially, but over time, relying solely on file naming and folder structure provides limited help. I tend to remember the content of the file or the project concept rather than its organization method. After upgrading to Release Preview build 26200.7623, the customized Start menu layout has been reset to its default state. Currently, no option to restore the previous custom appearance is found in the settings. Please confirm whether this customization feature still exists and provide instructions for restoring it.
