Update - Guidance for delivering Virtual Events Playbook

With Webinars feature released, the Virtual Events Guidance Playbook needs to be updated to include direction on Webinar functions.

As well, Teams Meetings now support up to 1000 Interactive Participants which needs to be updated in the playbook. (from 300)

Further direction on the updates to Post 1000+ non-interactive (view-only) participants need to be added as well.

When can we expect an update for the playbook?

Hello @DavidEichel

No timeline right now. We are working on a virtual event learning path that will get published on MS Learn though, in the next quarter, so you should look out for announcements about that.

@ThereseSolimeno

Been looking out for an announcement on this for almost 3 months now... an idea when this learning pathway will be ready and the virtual events playbook updated?

Hi @BrianM2021  We're refreshing the content to include all the new features that have been released since the first publication, so the release of the new version has been pushed to later this year or early 2022.  In the meantime, if you haven't seen them there are lots of resources available here: Guidance for delivering Virtual Events – Microsoft Adoption

Also, there is an "Ask Microsoft Anything" session on Virtual Events scheduled here in the AMA discussion forum for Sept 16, 2021 from 9:00 - 10:00 am Pacific Time.  Perhaps you can join that with your questions.

We appreciate your patience.
