SSPR - Disable Phone Call authentication method (SMS ONLY)
Hi folks! Im working with a big client where we are rolling out SSPR combined experience where we in a few weeks are planning to enforce registration with a minimum of 2 authentication methods (APP and Phone). In the MFA settings we are able to disable phone call as a authentication method. But when using SSPR this option is not longer viable. We have been in contact with Microsoft and got the reply that this feature cant be disabled for SSPR, only for MFA, and that this is by design. We are worried of the potential security threat in that a redirection/forward of a phone number to an imposter phone number could be a way in to our environment. Do anyone have any idea of how to * disable phone calls when authenticating against the sspr feature (but keep sms) * whats your take or thoughts of the potential risk/threat of someone forwarding phonecalls through the users phone-operator? Thank you for your help! Kind regards JohanRe: What happened to the group/teams photo endpoint in graph api? Not fetching photos
Yes this has worked before. With delegated permission, just as much fetching the title of a team. I'm pretty sure of it. I noticed this a few weeks ago, before this everything worked as expected. I dont understand why the picture for a group or team should be seen as sensitive and hence be locked out of results. Group.Read.All Shoud be sufficient for the picture. Or give me a standard / default picture just as when no image is added to a team. I have gone through if some more permission has been added before but cant find any reason for why it has worked before. Thanks2.1KViews0likes0CommentsRe: What happened to the group/teams photo endpoint in graph api? Not fetching photos
Hi Gousia! Thank you for your reply. Yes the team has a photo. The code works when you are a member of the team but not otherwise. So its obviously a permission issue. But this is not how things have worked before. Can you confirm, are you able to load photos for teams that you are not a member of? Hi Guys! I have developed a solution that lists groups and teams with their basic information and photo. This has worked for years in different forms against the graph api endpoint: https://graph.microsoft.com/v1.0/groups/{id}/photo/$value However: Before I have been able to fetch the photo for all groups and teams regardless of membership in the team. But then, One week ago I started to notice that all the teams that was defined as private and I was not a member of resulted in a 404 error: { "error": { "code": "ErrorItemNotFound", "message": "The photo wasn't found.", "innerError": { "request-id": "e36d0132-aa37-4f7f-a110-03bc4e6b71d0", "date": "2020-02-19T09:15:28" } } } The behaviour is reproduced in several tenants and the permission level for API is Groups.ReadWrite.All I have tried to find any information about this change, have Microsoft done changes for this API endpoint? And if so, why? If someone has any similar experiences and/or some information that I have missed out on you are more than welcome to help me out 🙂 Thank you, Johan2.3KViews1like5CommentsRe: Stuck in a login loop... I Have or I Don't Have is the question
Hi! Strange problem and I hope it gets fixed soon 🙂 So first off. This is an organisational O365 tenant with valid license for teams we are talking about here right? Since you are saying you were told to register a private account upon team creation, have you registered for teams when not logged in with your organisational credentials? Is this a problem for just teams, Can you access other o365 services? You should probably detach the private account. It may be problematic for the authentication flow knowing which account it should use. Do that. Run in private mode and try to login once again with your org. Credentials. Best of luck27KViews0likes1CommentRe: Unable to create a team from existing team
No problem! If you are not already, Try explicitly to add yourself as an owner of the Team, Your global admin permissions give you the ability to add yourself as an owner of all Teams, but it does not mean that your logged in tenant admin user automatically has the owner role for that Team. Does that make a difference?5.4KViews0likes0CommentsRe: Unable to create a team from existing team
Stacey Scarcella Hi Again! Are you an owner of the template team? (I read your post again and saw that you were an owner 😉 ) I think you need to be an owner of that team to make it appear in the list. https://support.office.com/en-us/article/create-a-team-from-an-existing-team-f41a759b-3101-4af6-93bd-6aba0e5d76355.5KViews0likes2CommentsRe: Unable to create a team from existing team
Stacey Scarcella I have tried to reproduce this. I can create a new team and almost immediatly list and use it as a template without problem. How did you create the team? If you create a new team once more, is the problem still valid for that and not showing in the list? Kind regards Johan5.5KViews0likes4CommentsRe: Graph API for Dynamics CRM
AresLiu2010 Hi ! Your linked blog post seems little outdated? But I can't seem to find any information in the graph documentation. The only thing I can find is about financial endpoints for Dynamics 365 business central is in preview thou. https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/graph/dynamics-business-central-concept-overview https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/graph/api/resources/dynamics-graph-reference?view=graph-rest-beta Does anyone else know?10KViews0likes0CommentsRe: Fast user switching in desktop launched? kimhaak I think we will see a big improvement in this area during 2020 when Kaizala is integrated as a part of Teams. Read about it here: https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/microsoft-kaizala-blog/microsoft-kaizala-rolls-out-to-office-365-customers-globally-and/ba-p/3942985.7KViews0likes1CommentRe: Caller notifications
Hi redtechguy! I dont know how your environment are setup There is a way turning announcements for audio conferencing on and off in the teams admin center. In the left navigation, go to Meetings and then Conference Bridges. I think this is what you are looking for? https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoftteams/turn-on-or-off-entry-and-exit-announcements-for-meetings-in-teams1.3KViews0likes0CommentsRe: Fast user switching in desktop launched? With free teams account you mean the consumer variant? I think it is annoying that the freemium and personal variant becomes an own tenant or is represented as such in teams. This could have been dealt with in a much better way. Just as Linus saying the switch is to switch tenant environments. Between Your own tenant plus those you are a registered guest of.5.7KViews0likes0CommentsRe: Stuck in a login loop... I Have or I Don't Have is the question
Hi! The first few bulletpoints that comes to my mind. 1. Do you have a personal registered microsoft account with the same email as your organizational account. This can be a problem and you could try in this case to detach this personal account. 2. Have you been rearranging in your licenses lately?27KViews0likes4Comments
