Old Outlook image on external Microsoft sites
An old Outlook profile photo persists when I create accounts on sites outside of Microsoft. I've updated my profile photo several times, but when I create an account, only providing my email address, sites that use a Microsoft photo associate an old photo of me that I'm embarrassed to see. One example was when I created my profile on ChatGPT, where the photo used there is this old photo. I've tried contacting Microsoft support several times, but they haven't answered my question. They always instruct me to update my profile photo, but I've had this problem for eight years, and it's never been resolved.
How to see photo's and movies in the create-date order in OneDrive Photo
I moved all photo's and movies from Google Photo to OneDrive. However, movies from 2016 are listed first, whatever I try. It seems that there is a sort, but I cannot find that button. There is only a timeline on the right, but that one is bricked as well (showing movies that are CREATED in 2016 on top, in the 2024 section). OneDrive Photo is so STUPID to sort video's based on upload date? How stupid is that? I start to believe I can better stay with Google Photo .... Or anyone tell me how sort normal.
Onedrive albums - allow custom photo sorting
One of the things I like about google photo albums is that you can easily drag photos around in order to create a "custom sort" of the photos. This is important in order to make a gallery look "just right". I like many things about onedrive albums (and onedrive), and I'd like to start using it, but as far as I can tell, it doesn't allow for any custom photo sorting. If I am right about this, will microsoft ever be adding a "custom photo sort" capability to the onedrive albums? Hello. I'm aware there're many threads about SharePoint user profile pictures not showing in different ways. We've been facing an issue which I couldn't find a solution nor fix it myself. We're using Exchange Online and set user profile photos with a scheduled PowerShell script via Set-UserPhoto. This works as intended and the photo is showing everywhere, Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online, Delve etc. The only place where it doesn't show is in the SharePoint user profile service's user profile. You know, the /_layouts/15/tenantprofileadmin/ProfAdminEdit.aspx in the SharePoint admin center. The mysite collection where these pictures are supposed to be hosted contain the LThumb, MThumb and SThumb thumbnail placeholders but not the actual photos. As far as I understand the logic is that when using EXO a user has to browse his Delve profile page which will trigger a sync to the SharePoint user profile - not so for us. I've experimented with the two settings that should have an effect on this sync mechanism: - SPS-PictureExchangeSyncState - SPS-PicturePlaceholderState As far as I interpret those settings SPS-PictureExchangeSyncState means that unless this is enabled not photos can be pulled from EXO and an admin has to manually upload a photo in the user profile service. SPS-PicturePlaceholderState I think indicates whether or not a picture has been set if it's 0 and set if it's 1 but I'm not sure if it's the other way around. Anyway, apart from manually setting the picture here it's not pulling from EXO. If anyone knows anything I'd appreciate your comments. Hi Guys! I have developed a solution that lists groups and teams with their basic information and photo. This has worked for years in different forms against the graph api endpoint: https://graph.microsoft.com/v1.0/groups/{id}/photo/$value However: Before I have been able to fetch the photo for all groups and teams regardless of membership in the team. But then, One week ago I started to notice that all the teams that was defined as private and I was not a member of resulted in a 404 error: { "error": { "code": "ErrorItemNotFound", "message": "The photo wasn't found.", "innerError": { "request-id": "e36d0132-aa37-4f7f-a110-03bc4e6b71d0", "date": "2020-02-19T09:15:28" } } } The behaviour is reproduced in several tenants and the permission level for API is Groups.ReadWrite.All I have tried to find any information about this change, have Microsoft done changes for this API endpoint? And if so, why? Hello, impossible de mettre à jour les photos des utilisateurs dans Teams: version Web ou client lourd avec réinstallation et vidage de cache.... rien n'y fait. Curieusement toutes les autres app prennent bien la mise à jour Azure AD,Skype, Outlook, Du On promise à Azure AD ça met quelques minutes mais ça marche. Par contre sur Team je n'y arrive pas et j'ai mis une mauvaise photo à la mauvaise personne...
How to create an <img> tag containing MSGraph photo/$value response BLOB
I'm creating a Sharepoint Application (using Shrepoint Framework) and I'm not being able to retrieve the Pohto BLOB returned when calling MSGraph "/me/photo/$value" api. I don't know how to convert the BLOB into a Base64 string. I know that the responseraw.body is a readable stream, but don't know hot to access it and use as a SRC of a IMG tag. I have made many attempts, I'm writing one to explain what I'm trying to accomplish: this.context.msGraphClientFactory .getClient() .then((client: MSGraphClient): void => { client.api('/me/photo/$value') .get((error, response: any, rawResponse?: any) => { const blobUrl = window.URL.createObjectURL(rawResponse.body); document.getElementById("myPhoto").setAttribute("src", blobUrl); }); }); This code fails because creteObjectURL has been deprecated. The MSGraph call works, but I can't process the response. Any suggestions?
