Teams iOS not loading Planner in channel

We have started using Planners in Team channels, however on some iOS devices when the individual planner is selected it just shows the Planner logo and nothing else. Refresh by dragging down makes the screen go blank, but no refresh happens. Selecting the ellipsis shows a persistent "Loading" and does not load. Everything works fine in desktop apps and web app. We have removed and re-installed the Teams iOS app on both affected devices, iOS is current version. Any ideas?

Do you have a Planner app installed? In time you should not need that, but before new tasks rolls in you may still need the Planner app installed
