Microsoft Teams Live Event 1080p

Dear all,

   We need already 1080p option for Live Events streaming in corporation Ahold Delhaize.

We are having equipment capable of 1080p and higher (4K) recording and users are having mostly at least FULLHD or QHD quality screens.

You are pushing us into corner with those limits of 720p.

We need at least 8times during year 1080p 30fps quality stream for large Global Townhall meetings.

How can we reach those qualities for our streaming?

Ahold Delhaize is "kind of customer" for you. 

Are there any specific steps how we can reach such targets?

...now our only other way is to use different platforms. :sad_but_relieved_face:

@Jan_Tvrdik Hi Jan, I understand your frustration. At this moment it is just not possible.

What i would suggest is to upvote this item: Enable support for 4k webcams · Community (microsoft.com)

When to xpect approximately such 1080p option for Teams (both desktop and web apps)?

Ahold Delhaize also bought Microsoft Teams Rooms technology on Logitech hardware (Rally Plus,...) with PRO licences for hundreads of equipped Teams Rooms , but software is still not supporting more than 720p.

Microsoft is starting new "AI world" with huge compute and traffic consumption, but how about users? How about us?

Shame on developers.

And be aware it is also depending on bandwith the laptops/pcs etc. If you do not get to 1080 I would suggest to raise a service request at Microsoft.

With Microsoft New Teams  (Work and school accounts) when there "Townhall" events are replacing old "Live Events" , there we are getting finally 1080p resolution ❣
