The impact on the Canvas LMS

Copper Contributor

Greetings all.

I am an educational technologist whose specialty involves video production and streaming for faculty and other users at the University of St. Francis in Joliet.  We use the learning management system (LMS), Canvas, for deployment of instructional or informational video streams.  We have hundreds of online and "blended" courses, many of which use existing links to Stream (Classic), such as https://web.microsoftstream.com/video/94454d79-dc0c-4bc8-868f-0e1c6f74062e.*  That particular video teaches users about how to access library databases.  That link is typed into a simple Canvas course content page.  There are many others like it.

With Stream's retirement coming on September 15th, what I need to know is this:  Will that link and others like it still be available for read-only viewing?  First I need (really) a "yes" or a "no."

Then the necessary details.

Many thanks in advance,

Glen Gummess
