Hi Dean, URL click data is only used to track clicks within the tenant. This helps the security team understand which users may have taken action on a malicious link, allowing them to take investigative or mitigative actions. If this feature is disabled, the information will not be available in the URL protection report, Threat Explorer, or Advanced Hunting.
