I use OneNote for Windows 10, which I use on two computers and my Android. I am trying to delete 5 empty Notebooks (they all say “there aren’t any sections here”), but cannot figure out how.
[1] Microsoft tells me to go to Documents, find OneNote Notebooks, and delete them – but there are no Notebooks in there.
[2] Alternatively it tells me to do the same in OneDrive, but the OneNote Notebooks file there is also empty.
[3] I am also told the default backups location is C:\Users\user name\AppData\Local\Microsoft\OneNote\version\Backup. There were 3 Notebooks there, but they are of course backups and deleting them has no effect.
[4] Another possibility is to open Onenote and go to File > Options > Save & Backup. However, I do not find File >Options in my OneNote for Windows 10.
What to do?
