Cumulative Update 1 (CU1) for System Center 2012 R2 Configuration Manager SP1 and System Center 2012 Configuration Manager SP2 is now available as a hotfix download from KB 3074857 . This update contains fixes for various issues including an update version of the Endpoint Protection client, and contains all of the changes from prior cumulative updates.

Configuration Manager SP2/R2SP1 includes support for automatically updating the Configuration Manager client after installing a cumulative update.  For more information about that, refer to http://blogs.technet.com/b/configmgrteam/archive/2015/08/03/automatically-updating-the-configur... .

As with other cumulative updates, this release is optional and does not affect the product support lifecycle.
