MSIX files not installing

Hello!

I found some MSIX packages in the edge installation folder, all of them are different versions of edge(e.g. Edge dev, Edge stable)

and I wanted to install them but I get this error:

This app package is not supported for installation by App installer because it uses certain restricted capabilities.

Can anyone tell me how to fix this? i bought this PC on ebay and I don't know the admin password. The guy gave me a temp pass to use for the user, but not the admin one.

What are you trying to achieve exactly?
install Edge?

there is absolutely no need to do any of those things you mentioned.

@HotCakeX What im trying to do is get diffrent versions of edge. like i said in the post, edge dev, canary, ect. I dont want one of the installers, because they requare admin to install, and i dont have the password (I forgot it).

You can find most of them in C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft\Edge\Application\88.0.705.63\identity_proxy/. Which is the install forlder for edge

Then you better starting solving that problem first.

if a program requires admin rights for installations, there is no way to circumvent that other than entering your password/Pin.

files in those folders are only few kilobytes on my computer.

even if it was possible, something would not work correctly, for example the updater service.

So? everything is normal in there,

you really need to fix your problem which is recovering your Windows password

@HotCakeX Sorry for not clarifiing, i was showing the picture because in a previous post you said that folder is only a few kilobytes.

And I will try fo figure out the admin password. could you tell me how to reset it?

Yes and in your picture it's the same, only few files each of them few kilobytes, everything looks normal, mine is just like that 🙂

and sure, if your Windows 10 is connected to your Microsoft account it will be easier since they use the same password, please take a look at these pages:

None of those help me reset my Admin PIN, only my password.
