Is there a good master list of which versions of Office apps -- especially those purchased through Office 365/Microsoft 365 -- use a Click-to-Run installer and which use an MSI installer? I'm trying to get clarity on when a license change is going to require an Office reinstall on workstations.
I've found a lot of info, but it's kind of confusing to piece it together, especially since a lot is from before the recent changes to the O365/M365 plans.
This article seems to suggest that all plans now use Click-to-Run installers, but that contradicts what I was told by a Microsoft rep, and doesn't help with earlier deployments anyway.
Anyway, it's all a little perplexing and I'm wondering if there's anything that can help demystify it for me.

Hi, all M365 plans will use the click to run installers. However, should you wish to push a customised install of Office to users, then you may download an MSI package and deploy it through the Office Deployment tool - https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/deployoffice/overview-office-deployment-tool
