Unable to Sign in to Azure Portal

Hi team,

 

I am unable to sign in to Azure Portal. I am on a free trial on azure and have running VMs that I need to deallocate. It never used to ask me verification email this time and when I put the right verification email I do not receive a security code there in the recovery email. I am able to login to my Hotmail which does not ask me for verification email. I am also sure that the verification email matches the one I put. Please someone from the team help me resolve this issue.

I solved this problem already. It seems that when I put go to my recovery Hotmail and put microsoft.com in safe senders list I am able to receive security code. Even though nothing else from Microsoft was blocking. Funny how that works.

Good news, btw, better to setup an alternative Email as you need to consult Microsoft Support to recover if you are the only admin under your tenant
