Global VPN Peering

Copper Contributor

Global VPN Peering (i.e. the ability to peer Vnets across regions) was announced in preview mode on Sept 26, 2017, but limited to US West Central, US West 2 & Canada Central.  I thought I read somewhere that the preview had been expanded to the entire Azure cloud but can't find the reference again.  I have Vnet's in the US East and US East 2 regions that I would like to peer.  Does anyone at Microsoft know if VPN peering is available now between these regions, and if not, when it might be available?

Thanks.

Hi James,

As per recent updates - Jan/19, You can now peer across the following regions:

  • Korea South
  • UK South
  • UK West
  • Canada East
  • India South
  • India Central
  • India West

Please refer to: https://azure.microsoft.com/en-us/updates/global-vnet-peering-region-expansion/

Thanks Dave.  I guess I have to wait longer for the East US and East US 2 regions.
