I am exploring the options to distribute applications to Windows VDIs in a Hybrid mode. VDIs could be on-prem or Azure or any other cloud provider like AWS. I understand that MSIX is the strategic direction that windows application packaging is evolving. Also, App layering using MSIX App Attach conceptually should not be tied to just Azure implementation.
Does anyone know any open source or community effort to provide cloud/platform independent implementation of MSIX app attach? I would like to explore and contribute to project if one exisits, if not then I would like to start a project, please suggest.
