Audio Input aka Microphone

Copper Contributor

We're demoing using WVD in a contact center setting, but, there is no Audio in, which makes it a difficult sell for anyone that relies primarily on softphones.

If I manually edit the RDP file and add this line, it works:
audiocapturemode:i:1

Any plans for enabling audio input by default?

Just found this other question with the answer

Set-RdsHostPool -TenantName <tenantname> -HostPoolName <hostpoolname>-CustomRdpProperty "audiocapturemode:i:1"

@wjdavis I like this suggestion. Additionally, it would be helpful if audio and input were supported on iOS and Android clients.

@wjdavis Just a quick note on the default settings. Audio In (Microphone) is disabled by default since it has privacy implications and thus must be enabled by the admin.
