We've confirmed that all systems are back to normal with no customer impact as of 03/12, 06:25 UTC. Our logs show the incident started on 03/12, 04:30 UTC and that during the 1 hours & 55 minutes that it took to resolve the issue, Some Customers with workspace-enabled Application Insights resources in East Asia region may have experienced intermittent log data gaps and incorrect alert activation.
  • Root Cause: The failure was due to an issue with backend dependency service.
  • Incident Timeline: 1 hours & 55 minutes - 03/12, 04:30 UTC through 03/12, 06:25 UTC.
We understand that customers rely on Application Insights as a critical service and apologize for any impact this incident caused.

We are aware of issues within Application Insights and are actively investigating. Some Customers with workspace-enabled Application Insights resources in East Asia region may experience intermittent log data gaps and incorrect alert activation.
