We've confirmed that all systems are back to normal with no customer impact as
of 5/9, 16:28 UTC. Our logs show the incident started on 5/9, 15:47 UTC and
that during the 41 minutes that it took to resolve the issue customers using instrumentation-key
based ingestion may have experienced intermittent data gaps and incorrect alert
activation. In addition, customers using Live Metrics in Brazil South may have experienced intermittent data gaps
on Live Metrics charts.
We understand that customers rely on Application Insights
as a critical service and apologize for any impact this incident caused.
