Triggers Azure Data Factory did not run 24-05-2024

In multiple azure tenants we experienced the azure data facory triggers not starting this morning 24-05-2024. Azure Service Health and region West-Europe in Azure status shows no active issues or resolved issues on this service currently. The triggers have been running for over a year daily. Manual run in the morning was succesful.

Tiggers that did not start were scheduled at 01:00 AM CEST (in two different tenants/subscriptions) and one at 00:30 AM CEST.

Are other community members experiencing the same?

Yes, we noticed the same problem with 2 triggers which where scheduled for the 23.30 PM CEST and at 00:10 AM CEST. They have not shown up in the monitoring tab. By this I mean that they were simply never executed. This is problematic since it doesn't show as an error. You just need to analize what executions are missing

Indeed, I share your concerns. It's surprising that Microsoft hasn't reported any service outages or maintenance activities that could explain these trigger issues.

We have a custom monitoring dashboard, and while not specifically developed for this purpose, it has been helpful in monitoring the status of the executions. This allows us to quickly identify any missed runs and avoid the manual effort of checking each execution individually. But still problematic as manual intervention is neccessary without a clear cause.
