Azure key vaults key rotations

Can someone help me in deciding between manual and automatic key rotations for Azure keyvault?

Is it better to do it for individual services/keys If I choose to do manual key rotations?

If I go for automatic key rotation, then I think there is a need to update the latest key at code level also. Is there anyway I can mitigate this?
