Even though the Sway competition is over, I am transmitting the following elements - as a static image - that should be looked at for the French Canada translation. Glad to help improve user experience. 🙂

I know I told you this at the time. The Sway team wanted us to keep these different on purpose.
Thanks for the suggestion though!

Hi @Stafford Quai,
From your message I understand the Sway team does not want to use the same wording than in Office, right? It is totally their choice, although I do find it sad that we are forgetting one importance piece here: the user. We are forcing a new terminology for features they have known for ages.
Besides the fact they want to keep the language different than in Office, will there be an improvement in the choice of words to make it easier to understand what will the tool do without having to test it?
Thanks for your update!

So you are correct they want to be different (on purpose) but we hear you. On your second point we think that will be user led. If enough people are telling the Dev team to use similar terminology to other Office apps and services then they may take note. We think the best way for you to get their attention is to post your suggestion on https://sway.uservoice.com. The more votes your suggestion gets the better the chance they will consider changing it.
