Hi I have a database which is used to generate forms which are priinted and signed by various signatories to record compliance to a risk assessment. Ideally I would like to keep the forms in an electronic format but selecting a name or typing a name is not considered to be secure in terms of sign off. Can I connect a signature pad (external device such as those used by delivery men) to add a signature to a field which can be displayed on screen and recorded on the form (ultimately locked)? Has anyone experience of doing this or can recommend a particular tablet/software for enabling this to happen
