SharePoint Home Page - Changing order of Featured Links and Followed Sites

Iron Contributor

In the SharePoint home page _layouts/15/sharepoint.aspx, the 'Featured links' is at the bottom of the list on the left navigation after 'Following' and 'Recent' sites.

Is there a way of changing this order?

I would like to have the 'Featured Links' showing at the top of the left navigation pane.

Sorry, but it's not possible. SharePoint landing pages is not customizable at the moment

It is sad that you can not even change the order of the featured links itself! This should be the minimal. Now you have to delete them all and add them again in the exact order starting from the bottom of the list as you would like to have them listed finally. When you want to insert one link you can start over from the insertion position.

Agreed. Very sad. The first great disappointment of my poking around in SP2019 on-prem.

You are able to reorder the links within the Featured Links section now, but you are still not able to move the entire section, unfortunately.
