Microsoft's Verification and Support System
Microsoft's verification and support system is absolutely appalling. Despite providing every piece of required information for my company, their system continues to reject my verification attempts. I've gone above and beyond by paying extra to create additional email accounts in the format email address removed for privacy reasons. I've submitted QR-coded invoices officially verified by government authorities. Our WHOIS data is current and accurate. My name matches perfectly across all documentation and our DUNS number is correct.
Yet, I keep receiving the same frustrating response: "This is because the primary contact details did not match."
When I reach out through their official support channels, it takes them five days just to respond. It's been two months now, and I'm still waiting for approval just to register. It's absurd that such a large company maintains such a disastrous system.
All they need to do is verify real users directly without relying on AI algorithms. They're so focused on automating everything with artificial intelligence that they've created a dysfunctional process. Despite all their technology, humans still remain superior at handling these verification tasks, yet Microsoft seems determined to automate a process they haven't properly designed.

This is a common pain point with Microsoft’s verification process. The automated checks are strict but often misinterpret legitimate information. You’re right — AI has replaced human judgment here, and it’s failing. The fact that official, government-stamped documents and matching WHOIS data still get flagged shows the process isn’t properly designed. The lack of timely support (five-day response cycles) just compounds the frustration. Many companies end up verified only after months of persistence or by paying for premium support. Microsoft really needs a human override option for legitimate cases like yours.

JamesP5 I'm not sure what you are asking here? Please submit a support ticket to move forward: Partner Center Support
- JamesP5Copper Contributor
JillArmourMicrosoft I am unable to open a support ticket, which is another issue I am experiencing on the Partner Centre.

yes friends, I finally got authorisation for the developer. BUT I do not have authorisation for the ‘hardware’ panel at the moment.

Microsoft is reviewing their partnerships across the globe. They announced major changes to this and I believe they put all new partner onboardings on-hold (not 100% sure though).
If you're a CSP Indirect Reseller, the best way to proceed is to contact a CSP Distributor and ask them for support with the onboarding process. They could log a ticket in your name and/or escalate to their Microsoft contacts for help as well.

2 FREAKING MONTHS PAST. Still waiting...

And another request for a document:
In reviewing your appeal for verification, we have identified that we need some additional information from you before we can complete the review. Please provide copies of the additional original document(s) listed below to verify your association with the organization. Documentation must be dated within the past 12 months.
Copy of original paid domain registration receipt from the registrar that includes the domain name, the owner of the domain, the date it was registered, duration of registration, and the name of the registrar.
We will follow up in 2-3 business days if we have not received a response
Which is funny, because it is not an appeal. But a continuation.
Another funny thing is that I've got multiple domains connected, but which one is requested. I don't know. My guess is, that it is the primary domain. Would be nice to have the requested domain specified.
Riddle me this: how does a domain verification verify my association with the organization? The Vetting system or process is so incredibly broken and frustrating.

The verification system has a new location under "Account Management". There the status is "Authorized". The 'old' location under "Legal Info" -> "Legal Business Profile" has status "Authorized", but "Profile info" has the status "Rejected".
Mailed my open ticket about what to do... no answer... yet.
I'm tired, boss.- kaanvisionBrass Contributor

I've been in a similar nightmare cycle. I want to use Microsoft as my core cloud partner, but the process has been so broken that I’m being forced to steer clients toward alternatives like Google Workspace, AWS, and even FOSS solutions. One of my clients even chose Zoho over Microsoft—and I honestly can’t blame them given the onboarding (or lack thereof) experience I’ve had.
The documentation is easy to verify. Everything looks 100% consistent on my end and support can't demonstrate my error or provide a solution. However, they do try to close the ticket from time to time, lying and claiming I haven't responded in X days when I clearly have. Where does this leave me?

Sir, we are still waiting response 12 weeks past. Even the baby come in 36 weeks...

I have forwarded your comments on to the vetting team. They are aware that is it not working well.
- Tonny_WildemanCopper Contributor
So, the verification process failed. My access to partner center has been gutted.
Hello, Thank you for providing additional documents to our team for account verification. Upon review, we identified that the documents you’ve shared are too old to be considered for account verification. All documents submitted must be issued within the previous 12 months or where the expiration date is a future date that is at least two months away. Thank you, Vetting Operations Support
Which is funny, because the documents I provided were issued this month...
What is, probably, the issue:
In the Netherlands, at the Chamber of Commerce, it is possible to plan changes. I already changed our address in Microsoft's systems. Microsoft does not have an option to plan for changes. I also uploaded the change of address request, provided by the Chamber of Commerce.
I reverted the change, and will try again when the change has gone through at the Chamber of Commerce. "Awesome" service and support from Microsoft's Vetting Operations.- kaanvisionBrass Contributor
hahaha again same copy paste reply. I did scanned QR 10 times but still all fails.

I have moved your post to our partner verification discussion board as it fits better with that content.
- kaanvisionBrass Contributor
Instead, you could have informed a higher authority about the situation.
