Unfortunately there is not an easy way Today of improving this switching experience. What I recommend here is to take advantage of the Teams Web Client so you can actually review your kids assignment through the browser or even if you are familiar with browser profiles, create specific profiles for your childs accounts: https://tomtalks.blog/2020/03/create-multiple-edge-web-apps-for-each-microsoft-teams-guest-tenant/
