Break in Business Hours- Auto Attendant in Teams

Hello All,

I was configuring an Auto Attendant flow were under the business hours section, I need to show a break for lunch. My question is, would it be possible for having a different greeting message to be played during this period which is different from the after-hours call flow?

I thought this would be an ideal forum to seek guidance here or understand best practices to follow.

Thanks,

    Hi All,

Found this post when searching for how to solve a very similar problem, and thought I'd document what we did.

We set up a second auto attendant, which excludes the hours.

So the top level auto attendant has a schedule like this:

And the second level auto attendant has a schedule like this:

Then you can use the second level auto attendant to say a different message / have a different action to the top level auto attendant.

I hope this helps anyone coming across this problem!

OK but then how does it know when to go to the first or second auto attendant?

Hi, @ThreseSolimeno and StevenC365, my question is from this specific link, how can one set different incoming call-handling options and greetings for after-hours, when there is a single option to input the Greeting Window?
