I received a notification that I was now in Central time zone this week (I have always been in this time zone). I accepted the change and you know what happened? Every appointment I had got two hours added to it (instead of 9 it is now 11). When are you going to start testing the software before releasing it? I said it before and I will say it again one of my jobs was to make sure the software worked with no glitches before release. Hello every one who read this. My company after years with MDM On-Prem instances want migrate to the cloud. We have few licenses with intune so i check the system. But for me it seems like early beta system. 1. Problem with BIOS password. Deployment is a really problem I create install .NET + Dell For Intune but in documentation are no words about what should see cctk file if i only want set up BIOS password 2. Android options are joke. Even less popular MDM have possibility to force gps ON but not intune my question why? it seems like a half product for Android OS 3. I enroll Android devices as corporate owned and have many funny options a) I cannot change Intune app seting for location (are grayed out and location for this app is turned off) b) after deployment Company Portal app installed sucessfully but wehen i click on it then app disapear and once again i cannot install manually because admin already install it :D There are many small and big things to fixed Another funny example are Device Encryption as standard user we have 2 option 1. Quiet encryption without password 2. Admin must start it. Why user cannot start encryption itself wehen i prepare custom profile in the way we want (user must only add a password)20Views0likes0CommentsMicrosoft Tech Community Ideas - What Happened?
We have decided to archive all ideas from the classic platform, except those that have a clear parallel in Aurora. This decision was made not to disregard the excellent ideas submitted (over 800 since launch), but because the Aurora UI introduces new UI/UX experiences, making it quite challenging to review every idea and determine its current relevance. Some ideas, such as the request for an app for the Office Network (now called Microsoft Tech Community), still resonate today. Therefore, we have reinstated these ideas on the new Ideas board, along with their original comments and votes. Unfortunately, due to a bug, these ideas have lost their 'status,' but we will address this issue shortly. If your idea is still relevant today and has not been transferred, please accept my apologies and comment below. We still have all the ideas and are happy to resurrect any that we may have missed. Starting with a new Ideas board allows us to update all statuses and tags to better reflect the current community and the way we structure and prioritise user feedback with the Aurora UI. Additionally, we will soon launch a new 'Updates & Roadmap' segment, which will cover all updates, bug fixes, and, where appropriate, reference community-reported bugs that have been resolved. We aim to be as transparent as possible and give kudos to the many members who offer their feedback and ideas to help improve the community. When I click on Publish, nothing happens. I have learned that this is because tags are required but the UI element to apply tags is not visible on my laptop screen until I scroll down which makes it impossible to see the message that tagging is required. Not sure if this is the right place to raise Id like to report an issue with content with the YouTube videos used, the layout on mobile devices uses 50% of the screen making it very hard to read, text is way too small and doesn't use full real estate of the screen. I am using latest iOS 18.1 and the safari browser. Even after stepping into GenAi, it was another year where I saw a lot of buzz. Communities in Microsoft Tech Community and impressed by the community's experts who solve problems and respond with knowledge of activities. Based on what I responded to in the user research survey🤔, but above all, the drive of the community moderator team. We hope that in the future, innovation will develop far and wide. We still hope that the tech community will continue to work together to solve problems, answer problems, and interact with each other with humans :pushpin:. All, We are aware of higher than normal instances of unexpected errors this morning. This does not appear to impacting all users but users who are impacted may see a black bar asking you to report it to our team and quote a reference number. Users who experience this error may also encounter missing page elements i.e. no boards or blogs listed on corresponding pages. Update: This issue is not affecting all users, if you get an unexpected error then try again either from a different browser or device, even opening the page using the InPrivate mode can result in not getting this error. We are investigating this as a matter of urgency and will post updates here. Resolved: 10:00am GMT - The issue that caused this spike has now been resolved. Please remember unexpected errors can happen for a variety of reasons and so if you continue to receive them it does not mean this issue has resurfaced. Hi, At the end of My Dashboard page, there is a section called Could you help answer this? which I believe is helpful and give us chance to help another community user. However, I notice most of the time it shows reply from forums which I don't participate and also not in my follow list. I believe this section should show questions from forum I follow, and it would be better to show forums which I am active.
