How to remove Windows Updates
and I don't mean "a" windows update! I want to completely remove the malware integrated into Windows 11 that downloads stuff without my consent and despite my explicit prohibition in all the possible settings. Simply removing wuapihost files makes Windows refuse to boot.
ROBOCOPY and UGREEN NAS DH2300
I was editing data when I noticed that my Network Attached Storage (NAS) hard drives were thrashing. Technically, that is what is supposed to happen when configured to update 'real time'. I have been a long-time user of a batch file to execute ROBOCOPY. It is clean and efficient, one of the better items Microsoft has created. Go figure, right? Anyway, being who I am and what I have done in my career, I got the idea to edit in Windows on two separate NVME hard drives (much data and large files) then execute a batch file to run ROBOCOPY. This consolidated all data onto one spin-drive in my Windows PC. The first time I did this, my DH2300 NAS was active. All configured SYNC and BACKUP tasks indicated 'BAD' and would not execute. I had to delete the NAS tasks and recreate them. After several attempts and recreations, I thought that I might shutdown the UGREEN NAS DH2300, run the Windows PC batch file for ROBOCOPY, then start the UGREEN NAS back up in order for the UGREEN NAS Client Sync & Backup app to 'do its thing'. WRONG! All tasks indicated 'BAD' again. I've made it a practice to delete the NAS Tasks after running Windows ROBOCOPY then recreating all seven NAS tasks. Only then will these properly execute. Would anyone have any idea as to what is going on to cause this? I've asked on UGREEN's FB resource page, and they are suggesting that it is a ROBOCOPY issue (Pass-the-buck = EASY). I suppose that's possible, BUT I've used ROBOCOPY for YEARS. It skips over any unchanged file and only changes/updates files when changed. Still, I must ask.
Looking for a way to make adult content extremely difficult to access on my Windows 11 laptop
Hello everyone, I know this is an unusual question, but I sincerely hope someone here can help me. I am an 18-year-old student who has been struggling with an addiction to adult content for the past four years. I have been trying very hard to overcome it, and at one point I was able to stay away from it for almost a year. Unfortunately, since last October, I have relapsed and have been trying everything I can think of to prevent myself from accessing this content again. So far, I have tried: Changing my IPv4 and IPv6 DNS settings to family-safe filtering services. Editing the hosts file to block websites. Using various website blockers and parental control tools. Trying different software restrictions and browser-based solutions. The problem is that I am the one who configured all of these. When I experience a strong urge, I already know exactly how to disable or bypass every restriction because I set it up myself. Unfortunately, I cannot ask my parents or anyone close to me for help. Discussions about topics like this are extremely difficult in my family, and I don't feel comfortable involving them. Because of that, I'm trying to find a technical solution that I cannot easily undo on my own. I'm not asking how to bypass restrictions—I want the exact opposite. I am looking for the strongest possible Windows-based solution that makes it as difficult as possible for me to access adult content, even if I know a lot about computers. Are there any Windows features, account configurations, Group Policy settings, security options, or other methods that could make these restrictions significantly harder to remove? Even if they are not completely impossible to bypass, I would like something that requires so much effort that it gives me time to stop and reconsider. Any advice or suggestions would mean a great deal to me. This has become a serious personal struggle, and I am doing everything I can to overcome it because I genuinely believe my future depends on breaking this habit. Can Copilot Studio agent connected via WhatApp channel escalate to representative?
We have built a Copilot Studio agent that uses adaptive cards and connected it through a WhatApp channel. We want this agent to be able to escalate a customer to a representative should they need assistance while communicating with the bot, however, with the current channel set up we use it is not possible. We had managed to connect the agent via Dynamics and WhatsApp simultaneously, but we then had double messages coming through on the WhatsApp chat, now we are only connected through the WhatApp channel. Is there a way for us to also connect through Dynamics in order for customers to be able to escalate to a customer representative? Or is there a way for us to allow for escalations via the WhatsApp connection?Visual studio benefits for MCT
I renewed my subscription for MCT earlier this year but recently noticed that my visual studio benefits is not active. What i have is MCT subscription that has expired date of 23/May/2025 instead of Feb 2027. I reach out to VSS support, they mentioned that my subscription was removed for the benefits and they redirected me to MCT support via Pearson. Pearson sent me back to VSS support and it has been back and forth for a while. Does anyone have idea how to resolve this.URGENT!!!! I NEED HELP WITH COPILOT ATT DESIGN TEAM!!!!!!!
I am reporting a serious and urgent issue with Microsoft Copilot. Over the past two weeks, I uploaded more than one thousand documents into a single Copilot conversation. These files were used for an ongoing, multi‑chapter historical and genealogical project. Without warning, the entire conversation disappeared from my chat history. Because Copilot ties uploaded files to the specific conversation thread where they were added, the disappearance of the thread has made every one of those files inaccessible. Nothing in the interface warned me that: conversations can be wiped or hidden without user action uploaded files do not persist outside the original thread losing a thread means losing access to all associated documents there is no recovery mechanism for deleted or missing conversations This resulted in the effective loss of two weeks of work and over a thousand uploaded documents. I need the design team to understand the severity of this issue. Users must have: A guaranteed way to preserve conversations that contain uploaded files A way to recover or restore deleted or missing threads A central location where all uploaded files can be accessed, regardless of thread Clear warnings that files are tied to a single conversation and will be lost if that thread disappears This is not a minor inconvenience — it is a critical data‑loss problem that affects trust, usability, and the viability of Copilot for long‑form or research‑heavy work. Please escalate this issue to the engineering and product teams. I need a way to recover my missing conversation or at least regain access to the files I uploaded. Hello, The title pretty much sums it up. My account got hacked while I was asleep and it had the passkey removed while I was asleep. I tried to recover it after I woke up but the email was already changed. I tried the account recovery form but had no success with it and I do not know where to go now. I do not mind not being able to recover it but I would like it to be disabled because the One Drive connected to it has some of my files. Any help would be appreciated, thank you in advance.
