Execute Azure Function using ADF activity and AAD Login
We are trying to execute an Azure Function (HTTP type) using Azure Data Factory (ADF). The Function App has the App Service Authentication set as "On" and the action to take when request is not authenticated is set as "Log in with Azure Active Directory". If we have this configuration in the Function App, is it possible to execute the Azure Function from ADF? ADF is the one that needs to authenticate when trying to access/execute the function. Do you know anything about this type of configuration?
AZURE function Visual studio code does not trigger "Select Storage Account"
I am trying to follow tutorial at https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/azure-functions/durable/durable-functions-create-first-csharp?pivots=code-editor-vscode It is indicated at step 3 When Visual Studio Code prompts you to select a storage account, choose Select storage account. Follow the prompts and provide the following information..... This is not happening and the tutorial does not indicate how to add it manually. Thanks for your help
Azure logic app - sent a visalized graph via email
I am using Logic app to send query outcome via email. I found article how to compose logic app that will use 5 queries (4 charts and 1 table). I would like to send them via email. The queries are fine, visualize data well. However when sending email it only renders the table. I am wondering if there is any additional processing that i have to add It generates in the email only the HTML table, not the image of graphs that are normal timechart or pie chart. Authentication (EasyAuth) on Linux consumption plan
Is support for authentication (EasyAuth) on Linux consumption plan in the works? Is there an alternative right now? I'm currently utilising the premium plan to get the authentication functionality...fortunately I need the hot start for this use case, but there are other use cases coming up where a pure consumption plan approach would be more appropriate.Announcing a Serverless and Azure Functions AMA!

I have created a python flask framework app which creates a basic chatbot using azure openai llm and embeddings. This uses an index.html template and the site loads and the chat responses work as expected in my local. But when I deploy it to webapp (Basic Plan, python 3.10), the site loads and the structure is fine but the chat functionality is not working. All packages are mentioned in the requirements file and during deployment the packages are installed properly automatically. Just for one time, i was able to make this work and i have that repo as a backup. But when i tried with the exact repo again, its not working. Has anyone else faced similar issues ? My guess is the way the frontend connects with the flask app has issues. The site loads but the flask code is not being accessed. If anyone can help with this, it would be great."Need Admin Approval" to register for techcommunity.microsoft.com - WHERE?
Hello! I'm unable to register with techcommunity.microsoft.com with my current work account - I get a "Need admin approval" popup, saying that "techcommunity.microsoft.com needs permission to access resources in your organization that only an admin can grant. Please ask an admin to grant permission to this app before you can use it." We can't find WHERE in Azure/AAD or our tenant that this app/permission is visible/assigned. My admin account is a Teams/Exchange admin, but not a full GA at this point. Can anyone point to WHERE the appropriate permission/approval is either granted or assigned? Note that I'm using another, personal account to create this post - since I can't get to the Tech Community with my work account 😞 TIA for any suggestions.6/10 - Azure Application Services AMA!

Authentication deadlock
I got a Microsoft 365 developer account and a sandbox as well. Many months ago it asked me to configure 2FA which I did using Microsoft Authenticator app on Android. I also had other 2FA setup on the same device for some work accounts. Later, somehow my sandbox account got deleted or overwritten from the authenticator app on my phone. I haven't been able to login to my Office 365 sandbox ever since. Ever flow I try asks me to use the authenticator on application. But the problem is that access to authenticator for 2FA was lost due to an app error. Our company's IT department said they can't do anything about it. I tried to delete the profile but when I created it Microsoft gave back the same sandbox which was already not working. My employer spends a good deal of money on Microsoft and it's very upsetting to get such a treatment from Microsoft. This account is needed for my office work. Help appreciated.
