Unmute participants as the meeting organizer.
HI ALL, When in a group meeting the organizer can mute the attendees. Is it also possible for the organizer to unmute an attendee? Thanks for the help Louis De ClercqSolved188KViews2likes38CommentsRemoving students from Team created class notebooks
Here's an interesting one: When a new student is added to a Team, they also arrive in class notebook. But when they are removed from the Team, they remain in the notebook. When you go to 'add or remove students' via the desktop add-in, the notebook concerned isn't in the available list. Is it just us or has anyone else found this? It would be a good idea in future releases of Classnotebook to have the Teacher Only space as one of the default section groups without having to activate it. I am training staff to use class notebooks at the heart of their 'E' operation in their classes, and it is very challenging for most- activiating the teacher only space through Manage Notebooks seems to me an unnecessary complication.Solved22KViews4likes34CommentsCustom background option is not showing.

I work at a school and Ms Teams for Education is definitely a viable option for providing blended learning. I would like to hear more from tertiary institutions. Do you think that Ms Teams is a viable replacement for Moodle? What would you consider as pro's and con's? I know of an institution that would like to start a new private university and they were considering their options for an LMS. So far they are favoring Moodle due to its maturity, rich features and customizability. While we are on the topic, how would Teams compare with Google Classroom, especially after the new features that are being rolled out? Has anybody moved from Google Classroom to Teams for Education? I don't seem to find a creditable comparison anywhere - especially not a recent one.Solved75KViews3likes18CommentsWelcome to the Education AMA!

What's the correct procedure to delete a Class Notebook that's been created via a Team and how can I view where they are stored? I've deleted the team that has the class notebook in but i'm still seeing the notebook listed under Office 365->Class Notebook->Manage Notebook under the co-owned notebooks. Also what's the correct way to add\remove students and teachers to Class notebook created in Teams, are we supposed to do this in Teams rather than Onenote? ThanksSolved69KViews3likes17CommentsTeacher Gradebook in Teams
Hi Guys, Is there any plans to integrate a teacher grade book into teams. It seams it should be easy to simply collate the data from the assignments to do this without teachers having to export each assignment grade to excel and do this manually. ThanksSolved22KViews7likes16CommentsTeams EDU + Intune Education
Does anyone know if there is an installer package for the Microsoft Teams client that can be installed via Intune Education? For some reason the Microsoft Teams team only provides old-school .exe installers, which doesn't work with Intune/Intune Education. I have no idea why they don't use Microsoft's own installer tool (MSI) which has been the standard for a while.4.6KViews1like15CommentsTurn off ability to create teams
Hi all, From a safeguarding and child protection point of view, in a school environment, it is not appropriate to allow students or staff to create new teams. Can the ability to disable team creation please be added? Unfortunately the powershell options to disable teams/O365 groups requires you to have Azure AD Premium, which many peopl including ourselves do not have. The UI option in Azure AD to stop users creating security/O365 groups, even when set to No, does not work. Students are still able to create Teams, and the fear is that this could be used for bullying purposes. Our senior child protection officer will not allow Teams to be sued until the ability to stop users from creating Teams is turned off. Only admins should be able to create Teams/O365 groups. Feel free to add weight to uservoice - https://microsoftteams.uservoice.com/forums/555103-public/suggestions/35505892-disable-team-creation Thanks.Solved156KViews0likes15CommentsPossible problems with periodic sync aproach?
We would like to sync CSV-files periodically. Hi there, I've got a weird issue using Azure Labs, I'm unable to create a new lab once I've created a shared image gallery and published/attached a new image to it. Hi Folks! I'm curious if there is a way to increase the default disk size or add additional disks for Lab VMs? Some of our software packages are quite large! I haven't seem mention of this in the documentation or in the UI. Does it have to be done via PowerShell/AzureCLI? Hello community, we are looking for a way for students to see all their assignments across different Classes/Teams all in one space, preferably in a List or Calendar view. We've played with Planner, but ideally we're looking for an integration that will push all assignments that teachers give into the Calendar on Teams. Is there anything like this available?15KViews4likes13CommentsMove Onenote Classroom from one teachers OneDrive to another teachers OneDrive
