111 TopicsCost Management options for Azure Gov CSP customers
I support a CSP that operates almost exclusively in Azure Gov/GCC High. The primary subscription we've sold for the last several years was the CSP for Azure Government offer that does not support the built in cost management tools. With over 1000 subscriptions of this type across our customer base the lack of cost management tools is becoming a huge headache. I regularly have customers that incur large, unexpected, increases because they roll something out and then have no way of seeing or monitoring their ongoing spend. By the time they see their invoice they're 15 days into the next billing cycle and now not only have a single unexpected increase but whatever they've accrued in those 15 days as well. This results in a support request and then having to go through the refund request process with Microsoft. I've heard for the 2 years I've been back with my company that cost management tools for the CSP for Azure Government subscriptions "were on the roadmap". Are they ever going to be there? If so, when? If not, why not? If not, we need some way to easilyAND inexpensively migrate those customers with those CSP subscriptions over to AOS-G where they do have access to the cost management tools. If you support a CSP and these types of subscriptions, how does your organization address the issue? Thanks in advance!URGENT: NCE subscription Cancellation hour limitation within a day!
Dear Community, happy holiday to everybody! We need to make a decision on a subscription cancellation, and our Finance DPT has the impression that as part of a past cancellation within the 7 days window, we have not received a full refund. Let's say that on 09:00 am we created a new NCE subscription. However, around noon, we received the info that we have to cancel it. The question: except from the 7 days/168 hours cancellation window, is there any other hour limitation withing the same day of cancelling a subscription in order to get a whole amount payback? It will be really important for the whole community to understand this point clearly. Thank you in advance for your significant support! Hello everyone, We’re facing a critical verification issue in Partner Center that is preventing us from publishing our Office JS Excel add-in on Microsoft AppSource. Despite receiving explicit approval from the Microsoft Legal Vetting Support Team, ourDeveloper tab continues to show a “Rejected” status. Current Situation & Timeline Dec 13 Reached out to the Microsoft ISV Success Program team about publishing blockers. Opened Support Ticket #2412130040014371 and provided our LLC formation document and domain renewal receipt. Dec 16 (Morning) The Legal Vetting Support Team confirmed our account is “authorized.” Dec 16 (Afternoon) Received a generic response from a support agent (Amol K.), requesting the very documents we had already attached in the ticket. Dec 16–20 Followed up daily with no meaningful response. The Developer tab remained in “Rejected” status, and the “Fix now” button leads to an empty side pane. Dec 20 Our Microsoft ISV Engagement Manager (Mariana Castellanos) escalated directly to the support team. We still have not received any specific guidance on why the “Developer” tab is rejected, nor a fix for the broken “Fix now” button. Contradictory Statuses Legal Info → Partner Tab: Fully verified and authorized, per the Legal Vetting Support Team. Legal Info → Developer Tab: Business verification remains “Rejected” without explanation. “Fix now” Button: Opens an empty side pane, making it impossible to submit additional documents or resolve the rejection. Key Challenges Contradictory Verification The Legal Vetting Support Team says our account is approved, yet the Developer tab shows rejection. Non-Functional “Fix now” Button We can’t move forward or submit anything new because the side pane is blank. Lack of Specific Feedback Support (Amol K.) repeatedly requests documents we have already provided, and we’ve received no clear reason for the rejection. Escalation & Delays Despite daily follow-ups, involvement from our ISV Engagement Manager, and direct contact with the Legal Vetting Support Team, our issue remains unresolved. Community Insights Needed We’ve noticedthat others have encountered similar “Fix now” button issues and generic rejection notices. If you’ve successfully resolved a contradictory verification status or a broken “Fix now” process, could you please share: Workarounds or technical solutions for the non-functional “Fix now” button. Recommended escalation paths beyond standard support channels. Best ways to obtain detailed feedback on why a verification was rejected. This roadblock is preventing us from listing our add-in on AppSource, which directly impacts our ability to serve clients. Any guidance, success stories, or escalation tips would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your time and help. Dear community, As we need to plan our offer for a big deal through the CSP channel, could you please help us how is the Office LTSC Standard 2024 being billed? Is it per user or per device/PC? Furthermore, if it is per device/PC, and for example we have 5x PCs, then we should buy 5x different licenses or can we install Office LTSC in more than one PC with just 1x license (something like Multiple Activation Key)? Please help us on this the soonest in order to conclude with the offer submission. Warm regards, NickSolved77Views0likes3CommentsAzure Build and Modernize AI Apps infographic protected

Dear all, We have been trying to get into the Windows Hardware Developer Program for months, trying to get our driver signed. We had to postpone launch for months now: it is very business critical. After 2 months of back & forth with support, we finally got in, and were preparing our HLK tests to submit. Once ready, we returned to the partner portal to see that now our vetting process got cancelled... There is no reason stated anywhere, no way to reapply, nothing... We're so desperate that we created this post. Creating support tickets is trash. It takes you a week before you get a templated or AI generated response that does not help you. After a while a human gets assigned to your case, but they often times are unable to help and just let the ticket die. Calling the support desk is worse: MS's IVR only knows how to refer you to O365 or Azure support pages. If you answer anything else, it cuts you off and ends the call. If you do manage to prompt it correctly, it will finally send you over to a human, who looks at your ticket and notices that it indeed has been open for months without help, but cannot assist further. I'm sure we're not the only people struggling, since I've seen multiple very similar (not same) posts to this one. Does anyone have any clue what the problem might be & how to fix this? Best, MJAzure marketplace offer questions
I have created an Azure Marketplace offer with a flat fee pricing model and added dimensions, where the usage is based on the user count. The payment is set to a monthly schedule. Example I have configured a dimension in my Azure Marketplace offer to calculate billing based on the number of users in my SaaS application. For example: If the SaaS application has 10 users, the billing will be calculated as 10 users × $19 = $190. If the user count changes (e.g., from 10 users in January to 8 users in February), I will report the updated user count as usage. This ensures the billing reflects the exact number of active users each month. Questions: How it will work on Azure Marketplace offer and per the below offer plan and how invoice will be generated? If I report usage daily, will the charges be calculated on a daily basis, or will they be aggregated for the month? Do I need to send usage on daily basis or once in a month? Where can I view the total usage reported to date in the Azure portal? Below is screenshot of my test plan88Views1like3CommentsStuck setting up our legal business profile for almost 2 months
We are trying to submit our Microsoft Word Add-on app for approval. When trying to set up our partner center Legal business profile, we've run into repeated business errors. The biggest issue is our Developer info. We've submitted our domain registration, ownership, GoDaddy domain portfolio, and even our articles of incorporation, but cannot get anyone to help us move past the employment verification stage. We've checked multiple times that the information we submitted matches our domain registration. At this point, we're out of ideas and could really use some help from someone at Microsoft. We've tried submitting support tickets (4 total) and all we got were copy+paste requests asking for the information we already submitted. This has been going on for over a month. Also, our Partner page is stuck on identity verification and has been pending for days.
