If you go to this article, Multichannel support for customers - Partner Center | Microsoft Learn, you will see that it states near the bottom the following: “For a customer who already has a subscription to Microsoft Azure from another channel (such as Advisor, Open, or EA), create a new Azure subscription in Partner Center, manually enter the subscription details, and then cancel the individual services or the entire subscription. Azure CSP can coexist with different channels.” Well, we have a customer on an Enterprise Agreement (EA) through SHI, and my company is a direct CSP. So, I am wondering if anyone out there can answer the following: 1) Can you please elaborate on how we as a Direct CSP executes this process? 2) Will we be able to recognize revenue from this? 3) Any other critical pieces of information I should know? Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! SteveSolved1.3KViews0likes8CommentsExplore Dynamics 365 Business Central Digital Event

I support a CSP that operates almost exclusively in Azure Gov/GCC High. The primary subscription we've sold for the last several years was the CSP for Azure Government offer that does not support the built in cost management tools. With over 1000 subscriptions of this type across our customer base the lack of cost management tools is becoming a huge headache. I regularly have customers that incur large, unexpected, increases because they roll something out and then have no way of seeing or monitoring their ongoing spend. By the time they see their invoice they're 15 days into the next billing cycle and now not only have a single unexpected increase but whatever they've accrued in those 15 days as well. This results in a support request and then having to go through the refund request process with Microsoft. I've heard for the 2 years I've been back with my company that cost management tools for the CSP for Azure Government subscriptions "were on the roadmap". Are they ever going to be there? If so, when? If not, why not? If not, we need some way to easily AND inexpensively migrate those customers with those CSP subscriptions over to AOS-G where they do have access to the cost management tools. If you support a CSP and these types of subscriptions, how does your organization address the issue? Hi, I am trying to register my organization for a partnership (Microsoft AI Cloud Partner Program). Goal is to become a "Solution Partner for Data & AI". During the process I get the following error: {"code":2100,"description":"A legal entity matching the request payload already exists when creating the legal entity.","data":[],"source":"PartnerAccountEnrollmentApi"} From my current understanding there is no existing partnership registration for my company. Can you please advice on this? Best, CarstenRequirements for Linking Partner Learn Profile
Hello! Just looking for some final clarification regarding the ability (or lack thereof) to link an individual's Learn Profile to a reseller tenant. In one instance, instructions say you must have a certification first, and another says you must either pass an exam or have a certification. However, the issue we are having is that someone with a badge (but not certifications) is getting an "account not recognized" error when putting in his Learn profile email when he's attempting to link in Partner Center. Is that account not recognized error the one he should expect if his badges do not meet the prerequisites for being able to link to his corporate partner center? Thanks! In Partner Center I want to create an admin relationship request for a certain customer. As you can see below I receive an error message when I clicked on 'finalize request'. Does anyone here has a solution for this because I need to create this request as soon as possible. Hi, I have a question about managing access to Azure subscriptions in the CSP model as an Indirect Provider (Distributor). Granting Access to Customers: What is the correct way to grant access to Azure subscriptions for customers? Are there any recommended practices or tools to simplify this process? Automation: Is it possible to automate the process of granting access? If yes, what tools or scripts could be helpful? Permissions: What permissions are required to smoothly assign such access? Is it necessary to configure GDAP (Granular Delegated Admin Privileges)? Or is using a Foreign Principal sufficient? I’m looking for detailed insights to understand the differences between these approaches and to choose the best solution. Thanks in advance for any tips and guidance! 😊SolvedRemove MSP Admin Access to Tenant
Hi All, I am taking over IT responsibilites for a mid-size company. Currently, we are dealing with a roque MSP who has admin credentials for everything including our M365 tenant. No internal employees of the company, including owner, have been provided admin rights. I should add that this MSP is a one-man shop, I seriously doubt he has any formal partner relationship with Microsoft, but I may be wrong about that. My feeling is that he has not registered the tenant the correct way and ownership shows his name rather than the company, but I can't prove that. due to conflicts, there is an eminent possibility that he will begin deleting accounts, removing licenses or otherwise interrupting business. Is anyone aware of a method for contacting Microsoft to deal with these sorts of disputes? without an admin account, I don't even have the option to raise a support case with them right now. We may be in a tough situation given that we pay him directly for services, so the invoice and payments will probably be in his name. any thoughts or suggestions are appreciated!
