Issue in registration process
Hi,
I am trying to register my organization for a partnership (Microsoft AI Cloud Partner Program). Goal is to become a "Solution Partner for Data & AI". During the process I get the following error:
{"code":2100,"description":"A legal entity matching the request payload already exists when creating the legal entity.","data":[],"source":"PartnerAccountEnrollmentApi"}
From my current understanding there is no existing partnership registration for my company.
Can you please advice on this?
Best,
Carsten
I've had the same issue and it took me forever to figure out how to solve it.
Turns out you can create a partner center ticket even if you have no access to a partner center workspace yet, using the following form:
https://partner.microsoft.com/en-us/support
The support staff then had me create a new partner account with a slightly different company name. They said I can change the name back later but that wasn't even necessary as the new company already ended up with the correct name. After that everything worked.
Hope this helps you.

I'm also trying to register with the AI Cloud Partner Program and I'm having the same issue when I complete the form on the "Company Information" page:
{"code":2100,"description":"A legal entity matching the request payload already exists when creating the legal entity.","data":[],"source":"PartnerAccountEnrollmentApi"}
When I search for support options, I'm directed to the Partner Center website but I'm not allowed to contact support because there's no workspace available for me to choose from. - Carsten70Copper Contributor
Hi, I still do not have a solution and I was not able to get any direct contact on the Microsoft side. This is really annoying. I read about other people who got this issue sorted out by issuing a call to all Microsoft Partnership Management employees listed at linkedin.. is this the regular process?

hum, I don't have access to partner center or the support portal as this community is not meant to be support for either, but I will ask internally if there is a best practice to get through this or if there are any resources around it.
