Hello All, So, we've got two christmas calendars: Ours - late December to early Jan Site - Mid December to slightly later Jan My project's standard calendar that i try to use for all activities has our public holidays We have some activities that our to be done on site that need to have a site calendar assigned to them. Previously, our on site activities were falling in November so it wasn't an issue. But now they fall into late December when WE are working, but SITE is not. What i'd like to be able to say is "If any of 'these' activities fall into this timeframe, then move them forwards" - i dont want it applied to all activities. How would you schedule this? At the moment, i think the only option is to give those site activities a specific calendar, and if they continue to drift right, change the calendar back again. But this is problematic for scenario planning Any thoughts?Solved460Views0likes1CommentMicrosoft Lists Calendar View color coding
I was looking into the new modern Calendar View for lists, and it does looks better than the old Calendars. However, is there any way to color code items based on a Choice field or some kind of conditional formatting, like you could with the old SharePoint Calendars? Or is that a feature that will be developed in the future?Solved51KViews6likes18CommentsPowershell Calendar Permissions
Hi! I am looking to make a powershell command that allows a handful of users to edit every users outlook calendar in the exchange. Currently it is set so that everyone can see each others calendars which is fine, but like mentioned, I would like a few accounts to be able to modify/delete/add items to anyone's calendar. Can someone help with this?2KViews0likes2CommentsArchiving Calendar Items in SharePoint Online (Modern Eperience)
Hello all, I am a technician for an IT managed service provider, and we have a customer who uses SharePoint calendars to track PTO for their employees. It is shared between all of them, and they have the calendars connected to their desktop Outlook apps. One of the issues we have run into is the item count on these calendars has exceeded 5000 (over 6000 at this point), and in the past few weeks this has become increasingly unstable in Outlook particularly. Viewing on SharePoint seems to be okay, but multiple users are starting to have send/receive issues in Outlook and they cannot see recent events. The solution we would like to explore is archiving calendar items to a new calendar that meet the following criteria: Older than some date (e.g. Jan 1st, 2019) Is a non-recurring event I have sufficient day-to-day SP administration skills, but not to the extent of using scripting or PnP solutions, so I was really hoping there was an "easy" workaround as this can't wait for me to gain the skills to be able to do this. I have already done a half-day's worth of research, and have tried a number of solutions. Using legacy SP features such as Content and Structure and List Templates are not an option at this point. One thing I have learned is that doing this appears to be non-trivial, unless I am missing something obvious (hence, my presence here). I am open to any solutions or workarounds you may have for this issue. I understand things in this setup may not be ideal or "best-practice" but pointing that out to me will be less useful than a suggestion for a potential solution. Hello everyone, We have an issue where a user can't use any of it's M365 group calendars in the Outlook client (for Windows) anymore. Once a new item should be created, we receive the error message from the screenshot below. The permissions are all fine, since on OWA the calendars are fully functional. What we did so far: - Recreate the mail profile in the control center - Reinstall whole Office suite (includes Outlook) - Upgrade Office suite from 32 to 64 bit Finally the mentioned error message (unfortunately in german), but I think the english translation would be "The operation failed. An object could not be found.": Maybe someone has an idea how to solve this issue? Thank you!1.9KViews0likes0CommentsUsing a Migration Tool to Migrate Classic Calendars to Modern Sites
Hello, I have a Calendar on a Classic SharePoint Site that I have migrated to my Modern SharePoint Site using ShareGate. The calendar that has been migrated to my Modern SharePoint Site seems to be working fine, I have tested creating events, recurrence, etc. It all seems to be working fine and its identical to my old calendar. Is this a sustainable way of having a calendar in Modern SharePoint? Thanks1.8KViews1like0CommentsCan bookings handle 150 staff on a service?
On the bookings documentation there is w reference to 31 calendar limit for a service and I’ve seen posts from people who have added more. For anyone who has added above 31, can you advise or how any limitations manifest? We are looking to have 150 agents be bookable so trying to understand how this will work.528Views0likes0Commentsanyone can share how to set a reminder like 10min before any meetings from the team's calendar.

I'm trying to set up an organisation within Office 365 based on TEAMS where we have about > 500 users at different responsibility levels, during Covid pandemic, it was a little bit chaotic as everyone used its own conception and I want to make a more coherent setting : here's the thing/kind of users i have - normal user who is in one core-teams and several subject-related sub-teams - advanced user who manage several sub-teams in different core-teams, he is only attached to one core-team - coordinators for the advanced users of the core team - master coordinator for all the coordinators. We wilkl all be working with TEAMS as the main app !! what i would like to have is the following setting for the calendars : the normal users sees the calendar of his core-team and the sub-teams of the core-team the advanced users sees the calendar of his care-team and all the calendars of the other sub-teams the coordinator sees the calendar of the core-team the master sees the calendars of the core-teams. So what i basically need is a way to integrate several calendars into one and show this merged calndar for the relevant users ?5.6KViews0likes1Comment
