I am interested in exploring the use of MSIX packages primarily for the use case of MSIX App-attach and WVD. My primary hurdle starting out is that within our enterprise we block the use of Windows Store Apps and Windows Store via GPO.
1. Does Microsoft plan to release the MSIX Packaging Tool as an app not on the Windows Store? I cannot download or use a Windows store app.
2. Will this GPO prohibit the use of running MSIX packages if I do manage to create any? And if it does prevent MSIX packages from launching, how have other Admins in secure environments deployed MSIX without opening up the Windows Store.
