Best way to transfer files from one pc to another using ethernet cable?
Tried to do with USB drive and WiFi network but the transfer speed are pretty slow. The internal SSD on the source PC is more than 1TB. This could take a lot of time to complete the transfer. In addition, the transfer was cancelled when the computer went to sleep. I was running out of ideals and hope someone here point out a reliable way to transfer files from one pc to another using ethernet cable. If you know how to do this, pls kindly let me know. Últimamente he notado que varias aplicaciones de diseño que uso a diario ya no funcionan correctamente en Windows 7, o directamente no se instalan. Por ese motivo, estoy pensando en actualizar windows 7 a windows 10, pero no tengo claro cuál es la forma más segura de hacerlo sin perder mis archivos ni programas importantes. He leído que se puede actualizar usando la herramienta oficial de Microsoft, pero no sé si aún funciona bien en 2026 ni si hay problemas de compatibilidad con equipos antiguos. Tampoco sé si es mejor hacer una actualización directa o una instalación limpia al actualizar windows 7 a windows 10. Si alguien ya pasó por este proceso o tiene recomendaciones (pasos, cosas a revisar antes de empezar, copias de seguridad, etc.), agradecería mucho cualquier consejo. ¡Gracias de antemano!Invisibe PC network from my sallon bluray player
I've had a big problem since switching from Windows 7 Pro to Windows 10 Pro... My folders shared from my PC are invisible on my sallon DHCP bluray drive. I had no problems before when I was on Windows 7 Pro, Windaube 10 is a real hassle for that! on the other hand, with software like SERVIIO it works! but the problem with this type of software is that you have to constantly synchronize your partitions... this proves that the problem comes from Windaube! if someone could get me out of this mess it would be wonderful otherwise I would continue to blow my brains out going around in circles...
Black Screen with Cursor
I recently acquired a Dell Vostro running Windows 11, version 22H2. Unfortunately, upon attempting to power up my computer and access the Windows log-in screen, I encountered a persistent problem where only a black screen with a cursor was displayed. This issue has recurred every two to three months. I am seeking advice on how to resolve this recurring problem.7zip for mac not available? Anyway to open .rar on mac?
Have been using 7zip on my Windows PC for years and it is one of the best apps for open .rar files. I was told it it is a cross-platform app but the download file is for Windows only. The setup files are wrapped in .exe, .msi and .7z. Those are not valid installation package on Mac. Does anyone know if 7zip for mac is available or not? My Windows 10 PC is retired and there are more than 100 games on this computer. I don't want to redownload the games as it could take days to complete and some of the apps are very large (more than 10GB.) It could be best if I could transfer games from one pc to another without re-downloading. I tried to manually copy them from USB drive and the speed is very slow. Hope someone could suggest a fast and reliable to transfer all my video and steam games from my old PC to another PC. Thank you
