Building Teams DLP solutions with Microsoft Graph API

One of the most common requests we receive in UserVoice is for Teams messaging change notifications – so we built a new API! Developers want to build apps that can get Microsoft Teams messages in near-real time, without polling, to enable scenarios like enterprise information archiving and data loss prevention. In this session we will cover the design of and best practices for using this API. This is a hands-on session so make sure you are ready to code along.

Hi

Nice to meet you, and a very informative post.

We are experimenting with the Teams DLP API, very similarly what's done in this post, but we encountered a curiosity, where when we do add a policy violation to a teams message, the message text was indeed hidden, but links to attachments and the attachments themselves remain accessible and also visible in the Teams client.

I was wondering if that's because we are misusing the new API, or whether that's the supported capacity of the new API.

Appreciate your insights,

Best regards,

Jonathan
