Block domain using Anti-spam policy, but allow one specific sender through
Hi all, We currently block a newsletter service domain in our Anti-spam inbound policy due to the amount of spam it produces, but we recently had a request to allow one of the newsletters through. Each newsletter from this service has the same domain, but has a unique sender before the @ sign. If we keep this domain in the blocked domains section, but add the specific email address to the "Allowed senders" list, will this override the block list and allow the email through? If not, is there another way to go about this?832Views0likes2CommentsUse Microsoft Teams to notify employees of critical issues and outages
Hi all, We're looking to utilize Microsoft Teams as a method for notifying users of IT issues and outages, this would be limited to company wide critical issues which usually only happen a few times a year. Could you please let me know if it's possible to create a team with the following requirements? Create a team and add all company employees to it Turn on notifications by default and prevent muting them Do not allow members to create new messages or reply (we want them to use the helpdesk - info will be provided in each alert) Thanks in advance.3.9KViews0likes2CommentsRe: Windows 11's Windows Security App can't open.
This is a really strange issue, I can see the app in the notification area but when I click on it nothing happens, when I go in through settings the "You’ll need a new app to open this windowsdefender link" error comes up. I tried all of the "Get-AppxPackage" commands without success, I also tried running sfc /scannow and dism restorehealth and nothing changed. When I try the command with the "WindowsApps" folder it says the specific path for "Microsoft.SecHealthUI" can't be found, it's like it is completely missing from the Windows 11 install but Windows thinks there's nothing wrong. The only way I could fix it was to do a complete wipe and reinstall of Windows 11.4.2KViews0likes0CommentsRe: Edge Canary padding problem
cwnessus Same issue on my end, just started recently with a number of websites I use: This is how the website looks on normal Edge and how it's supposed to look: And here's how it looks on Canary: Not sure what the issue is but I've tried things like clearing history/cookies and nothing seems to help.2.4KViews3likes2CommentsIs there a way to force the security portal recommendations to update?
Hi all, I'm currently going through and either uninstalling or updating a large number of EOL software through the "Security recommendations" page on https://security.microsoft.com. Is there anyway I can force an update/sync from the computers once I've completed a recommendation so that my colleagues don't try fixing things that are already fixed? For example, I just finished uninstalling an EOL program from 10 computers, but the portal still shows the program as being installed on these 10 computers, can I force this (either through endpoint or SCCM) to display real-time or up to date data?
