Re: Can disable Two-factor Authentication via Mobile
By default MFA is force which you can exclude certain users and account however MFA is always recommended. you can exclude from following 2 locations not to enforce MFA on those account/s and exclude them. 1- Conditional Access on azure 2 - conditional Access from Intune both these two places are same so which ever is easy you can use it, remember you will need some permission to perform this action.53Views0likes0CommentsRecap Global Summit with Copilot!
On January 31 and February 1, 2024, Microsoft hosted its first-ever Global Nonprofit Leaders Summit in Bellevue, Washington. The summit was a two-day event that brought together nonprofit executives from around the world to learn, share, and collaborate on how to leverage technology and artificial intelligence (AI) for their missions. The summit featured keynote speakers, panel discussions, how-to sessions, demos, workshops, and networking opportunities with leaders across the nonprofit community. Some of the highlights included: Brad Smith, Vice Chair and President of Microsoft, welcomed the attendees and shared Microsoft’s vision and commitment to empower nonprofits with technology and AI. Trevor Noah, Comedian, TV Host, and Author, entertained the audience with his witty and insightful Q&AI session, where he asked and answered questions about AI, ethics, and social impact. Dr. Fei-Fei Li, Professor and Co-Director of Stanford’s Human Centered AI Institute, inspired the attendees with her keynote on how to design and use AI for good, with a focus on human values, diversity, and inclusion. Hadi Partovi, Founder and CEO of Code.org, shared his story and passion for computer science education and how nonprofits can use AI to scale their programs and reach more people. Lauren Woodman, CEO of DataKind, moderated a panel of nonprofit leaders who shared their experiences and best practices on how they are using AI to enhance their work in areas such as fundraising, marketing, and program delivery. Jaime Teevan, Chief Scientist and Technical Fellow at Microsoft, introduced the Nonprofit Community, a new online platform where nonprofits can connect, learn, and access exclusive resources and opportunities from Microsoft and its partners. Afua Bruce, Author of The Tech that Comes Next and Founder and Principal of ANB Advisory Group, closed the summit with a call to action for nonprofit leaders to embrace technology and AI as a catalyst for change and innovation. The summit also launched the Nonprofit Community, a new online platform where nonprofits can connect, learn, and access exclusive resources and opportunities from Microsoft and its partners. The Nonprofit Community is a place for nonprofits to share their stories, challenges, and best practices, as well as get support and feedback from peers and experts. If you missed the chance to attend the summit, you can still watch the recordings of the virtual sessions by visiting the summit website and using the code VIRTUAL. You can also join the Nonprofit Community platform to learn, connect, and collaborate with the nonprofit community and Microsoft. The Microsoft Tech For Nonprofit Global Conference was a unique opportunity for nonprofit leaders to join the inspir AI tion and discover how to harness the power of technology and AI for social good. We hope you enjoyed the summit and we look forward to seeing you at the next one. 🙌 Here are few clicks;3.3KViews7likes17CommentsOffice 365 Group did not created SharePoint ?
Hi Community Members, Recently I created an office 365 group from Admin Center > Exchange > Groups the O365 group created with all the standard setting we wanted, went to Teams Interface so can enabled the Teams for it which is done too, but when I try to check the Wiki page in Teams or the File tab it is showing me message "we are setting up your file directory" when I check the SharePoint section of it says the 404 files not found. See the attached files for more details I did wait for 2 days and today posting it.Re: Mac+Microsoft 365 + Teams ...One Drive issue
It is tricky when it comes to a Free Teams account and your personal subscription here are a few suggestions; 1- maybe stop using your free team and upgrade your personal M365 subscription and get the one that comes with the team. 2- use the same way it is on the free teams account you should be able to add new cloud storage. Go to Teams same files section there will be a + ADD Cloud Storage option select that > > SharePoint > Use a SharePoint Link > put your Onedrive link here so this way you will have your onedrive connected to your free team account Make sure to grant permission if the account's domains are different @outlook.com or emrahkutlu.com3.1KViews0likes1CommentRe: Microsoft account and Windows User login account is replacing
Your profile/PC has been connected to your Microsoft account if you still remember your user so simple do .\user to login to the local profile rather than the domain or Microsoft online account. if you don't remember your user name maybe the local built-in administrator can be tried to find your local user if the built-in administrator is enabled. once you log in to your account from the accounts section to swithc to offline account and logout of Microsoft account.1.2KViews1like0CommentsRe: Can I get when device connected to IP range from Endpoint Manager Admin Centre?
you will be able to get these IPs from each device if you go to Intune or Endpoint Manager > Devices > All Devices > Select any device > Hardware > Wifi IPv4 Address so it is manual for each device at least give you the IP address could be an Intune Dataware house through Graph API give you more access and details maybe import that to a PowerBi or Power Automtae etc.4.3KViews0likes0CommentsRe: Document library permissions
I see this is not the read-only permission but rather custom permission is created with is name Web-only limited maybe there is an option to check that the user has edit/modify access so it is not just this user but anyone in the SharePoint Security group will have that access. you can name a SharePoint Security group like Access blocked but in the option, you can select full control while the display name says access blocked but that is just a name the important is the options ticked.895Views0likes0Comments
