Using modern sites in school for intranet
AB21805 you cold use the Quick Links web part in a modern SharePoint page and set the layout of the web part to grid.

You can add the image but it won't file the entire tile.
Classic and Modern SharePoint are very different animals so don't waste time trying to get things to work in modern that you could do in classic.

AB21805 I would expect that eventually Microsoft will remove the ability to create classic sites in the same way that they will probably remove the ability to create subsites. But I very much doubt they will mess with existing classic sites.

So I have managed to fill the tile however no name for the tile can be inputted.
