I'm working on building a staff directory for my org. I'm leveraging the PnP Modern Search Web Parts for this directory. I am having issues with 5 user accounts not populating in the Search Results Web Part with the department or office filters applied to the SearchTerms box. I have RefinableString03 set to People:Department and People:SPS-DEPARTMENT. RefinableString09 is set to People:OFFICE and People:SPS-Location. If I set the SearchTerms box to *, the 5 missing user accounts populate along with other accounts that needed filtered out. The location/office and department attributes are set for each of these accounts. They show in the hovercard for each account. It seems that the department and office/location attributes are not being picked up by the SearchTerm filter when the RefinableString03 and or RefinableString09 are applied to the Search Results Web Part. User account attributes are synced from our on-prem AD environment. What piece am I missing here?47Views0likes1Comment- 127Views0likes1Comment

Hello, I am trying to deploy the “Configure team site libraries to sync automatically” Group Policy for OneDrive, according to Microsoft’s official documentation, in order to automatically sync a SharePoint library for my users. Here is what I have already checked: The GPO is set to “Enabled” with the correct library string and format. The expected keys are present in the Windows registry on client machines. gpresult confirms the GPO is applied. All computers run Windows 10 (22H2), with the latest available OneDrive client. Files On-Demand is enabled. No related errors appear in the Event Viewer after multiple reboots and gpupdate. I have also tried applying the registry settings manually. Despite this, the target SharePoint library never appears for our users in File Explorer or in the OneDrive client. Has anyone faced and solved a similar issue? Are there any hidden prerequisites or troubleshooting tips for this policy? Thank you very much for your help!38Views0likes0CommentsCreate a link to a FileServer in SP
Hi all, I've a question for you, could you please tell me if it's possible to create a link between a SharePoint site and a FileServer? Let me explain: I use a SharePoint list to list all my projects. A Power Automate flow creates a new SP site for every new entry on the list When I click on the code of a project, it's a link to the new site my flow just created. I can store all my documents in this site EXCEPT my drawing files which are too big and impossible to work online on it. So I have an hybrid solution with plans and big files on a fileserver and communication / admin files on Teams/SP. What I want to do is to create a link between the 2 solutions. So I can have an URL on my Server folder to redirect to the SP site. But is it possible to create a kind of link on the SP site to open the file File Explorer on my mapped folder (\\ServerName\Projects\ProjectCode)? Is it possible to create something like that? Thank you in advance for your help,3.6KViews1like2CommentsGovernance Documentation
Hi, I am looking to start to put together a Governance Document for my companies SharePoint sites. I have never done this before, I've looked on the MS sites, found one or two articles, what I am looking for is if anyone has actually created a document themselves, pointers, links to useful content, exactly what was included within your document?Solved1.4KViews1like2Comments
