I just followed a prompt today (9/16) to update my office 365 account, and it caused my outlook account to go haywire. I get multiple prompts to update my password on one of my gmail accounts (not the default) and no matter what I do (re-enter the password, for example) the prompt keeps appearing. Please help. I remember this problem from several years ago, before I had office 365, but I can't find information on how to fix it.

Have you increased the security on your gmail account?
You need to ensure you allow less secure apps and you may need to clear the captcha
https://myaccount.google.com/lesssecureapps
https://accounts.google.com/DisplayUnlockCaptcha
Check you are using the correct IMAP & SMTP addresses - imap.googlemail.com and smtp.googlemail.com
I have also seen similar fixed with a new mail profile.
