Reporting in Stream

Brass Contributor

Do you have on the roadmap for Stream, the ability to run reporting on statistics etc. ie. on video view numbers, which users who are viewing the videos, how long they are watching for etc etc ?  This functionality would be really useful to help our business drive adoption and manage usage.

For a bit more insight into the per-video analytics that are coming soon, the Ignite conference session "What's new and what's next for Microsoft Stream" might help.

See the video at 23:08 or the downloadable slides starting at slide 27.

That will be the start, and capabilities will expand from there.

Can you share if these reports will be able to be run at a group, channel, or team level? We manage 100s of videos on our team site, and it would be great to be able to get analytics on how they are all performing.

@ChrisKnowlton @Marc Mroz - voicing my interest in knowing this as well. We need aggregate views at the Group / Channel level.

@krausedavid@marekkoenig  - the functionality is slated to roll out in phases, starting with the per-video level, then moving to wider scopes.

@hardatwork , any update about stream usage reports?

Is there an update on stream reporting ability please, both for the owner of the video (to see who watched it, how long they watched etc) and tennant level e.g. most popular videos etc... It is essential!! @Marc Mroz
