Hello,

 

We're using Interop version 15.0.4795.1000 to process Excel workbooks. As part of this, we highlight some cells. We have noticed that applying the highlighting will cause the undo stack to be cleared and all undo records are lost. This also happens when setting the value of a cell. Is there any way to avoid the issue or any plans to support preserving the undo stack?

Running code that modifies a workbook clearing the undo stack is as old as Excel itself, and has long been one of Excel's most notable deficiencies.  Don't hold your breath for this feature.
