Rolling 12-Month Average
I want to have a column showing a rolling 12-month average for each individual contributor. The table is laid out like this (showing a full 12 months with the previous months' columns hidden): Name | Rolling Average | Jan 25 | Dec 24 | Nov 24 | Oct 24 | Each month, a new month column gets added to the left and the oldest column on the right gets hidden to keep the sheet cleaner. Any help is appreciated! ShannonsstatonJan 02, 2025Occasional Reader8Views0likes2CommentsRemoving Weekends in my if formula
I am trying to enter an if formula which takes into account only working days, so non-weekends and holidays. My formula is: =IF(O66-M66 <=3, "Yes", "No") I want my date to show Yes/No if we met a deadline within 3 days, but need to omit the non-working days.Victor1123Jan 02, 2025Copper Contributor10Views0likes1CommentIf Conditions are met, Type or ref: info or Cell
In Cell B6 the following statement was inputted: =IF(F6="Interest Payment",F6,0) F6 contains "INTEREST PAYMENT" but would like to combine a second if/or statement: =IF(H6>0,"Deposit",0) Also would like to have "Interest Payment" initial cap instead of the shouting contained in F6 The purpose is it will either type "interest payment" or "deposit" based on conditions. Hi there. If I have data in Column A for 5 teams (say batting average), how do I get column B to be the ranking of those averages? For instance, if A2 = .390, A3 = .295, A4 = .401, A5 = .227, A6 = .265, how do I set B2 = 2 since A2 is the second highest average, B3 = 3 since A3 is the third highest average, B4 = 1 since A4 is the highest average, B5 = 5 since A5 is the fifth highest average, and B6 = 4 since A6 is the fourth highest average? Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.Grassland79Jan 02, 2025Copper Contributor6Views0likes1CommentInsert quarter em dash
Hello, I am wanting to to add a quarter em dash between a dollar sign and a number. I have a column of prices and I want a formula to run on the whole column that will put a quarter em dash between the $ and number, e.g. $(quarter em dash)332.50.Gerald_WilliamsJan 02, 2025Copper Contributor9Views0likes1CommentFormatting cells with color
I am using color to designate certain cells in each row of Excel. But as I type, Excel automatically tries to assign colors to the cells, but they are not correct. I'm using Green for 1st place, Yellow for 2nd place, and Red for 3rd place, but the numeric values in each cell do not directly relate to the colors. For example, sometimes a 4 translates to Green, and sometimes it translates to Yellow. I have tried removing all automatic formatting, but it has not worked. How do I stop Excel from automatically coloring cells?CK5013Jan 02, 2025Copper Contributor5Views0likes1CommentHelp with setting a formula
Hello, I have a table and want to create a new column to organize the view of data according to this criteria. Priority one: Year, (formatted in numbers, ex: 2001) Column D (lowest to highest); Priority two: Rewatch, (formatted in text, Yes and No) Column E(Yes first, No second); Priority three: Rating, (formatted in numbers, 1 to 5) Column G(lowest to highest) I've tried the following formula: =TEXT(D2, "0000") & IF(E2="Yes", "0", "1") & TEXT(G2, "00") Problem:It doesn't factor the Yes and No I don't know how to go about this, I'm not an excel expert. Can someone help please?brunofcrbessaJan 02, 2025Copper Contributor10Views0likes1CommentDays until next birthday (Countdown)
Hi dear community, I got everything in this Excel-File as I want it to, except the countdown until the next birthday and it really pi$$es me off! 😡 It's probably a formatting (number, date etc.) error. Hello, I am wanting to insert a quarter em dash between a dollar sign symbol and a number. My cell is currently formatted as currency using a dollar sign symbol to look like this $332.00. I am wanting it to look like this $(1/4 em dash)332.00. How can I insert that space in my full column?Gerald_WilliamsJan 02, 2025Copper Contributor8Views0likes1Comment
