I've just noticed that I can't take screen grabs of my remote Windows machine's screen.
Say I keystroke shift+control+command+4, then select an area of the remote screen. Then I paste that into anything. Instead of my Windows screen, I see that part of my Mac desktop that would have been selected had the RDP session not been open.
I feel certain this is a new behavior -- that macOS screen grab sees "through" my RDP session. I acknowledge this could be a change in that's app's behavior.
